My Oblivion is still unfinished (although I will certainly go back and finish everything) while Skyrim completely took over my life until it was done.

I wish they would release a Morrowind HD remake with Skyrim's combat gameplay while to kill time before they come up with Elder Scrolls VI: Dominion woot, but I know it will never happen.

I think a great comparison of drastic differences between sequels is Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2.

Skyrim started boring me a little in the middle with its incredibly repetitive ancient Nord tombs, but thankfully that's right around when I got to the Dark Brotherhood quest line. That gave me a hell of a second wind.

That's a problem with Skyrim. It had less diversity of enemies in caves and stuff.

Yeah, especially toward the end of the game for me, for some reason. It seemed like every other mission was "raid this tomb to find this dragon priest mask/word wall/random piece of junk."

If we got Skyrim's combat and magic system, Oblivion's mission and cave variety, and everything else of Morrowind, it would have been perfect.

I found the Dwarven ruins a bit boring after a while in Skyrim.

That's a problem with Skyrim. It had less diversity of enemies in caves and stuff.

Skyrim would have been even more amazing if they added a few 100 enemies/creatures to the bestiary. t: The caves themselves in Oblivion I didn't find to be particularly varied. The enemies within maybe (long time since I played it).

So I had this old friend in my area who is in college up in Mass. So I get a call from his mother, and she tells me that he told her to give me his old Super Nintendo since he knows I collect older games, and he knows I'll take care of his old stuff.

So she brings it over and I take a few minutes to see what he has. Some is pretty basic, some of the games he had are not necessarily rare but I don't have them in my collection such as lagoon and FF Mystic Quest.

But then at the bottom of the box, under everything else, I see Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana. I now have the original carts in my collection, and they were free.

I am so giddy right now, I don't even know.

Very nice. I got Secret of Mana with the strategy guide on eBay for like $25 a few years ago.

I have an idea! Instead of codes that won't allow you to play online if you bought your EA game used... Lets just have the game melt your console instead. You'll never play a used game again!

Some EA bone head is going to read that and think it sounds like a good idea for next gen.

Yeah, with all the big properties they've acquired alongside their sports franchises, if consumers started viewing EA favourably rather than with disdain they would be absolutely dominating right now. As it is at the moment I do whatever I can to not give them money while companies who treat me well I try to give back whenever I can.

Apparently Lego Batman 2 on the 360 has factory disk error. 8 people at my local game stop brought back copies, including me. Bring home my second copy.. Same issue.

You can tell by the "off" coloring on the data side of the disk.

Looks like I'm taking another one back...
