Yeah, the GOTY Edition. I didn't know if that's what they were calling it or if they had some other name for it.

This one makes your capital wasteland looks..prettier. It got rid of the green athmosphere...

Oh, if i were you, i'd try installing mods manually at first.that way, you'll know what to do when something goes wrong. You'll what goes where and stuff. trust me...it's important!

Make a backup of your save files periodically.

And in the map where the save files are stored, There's a file call Falloutpreffs. You might wanna save that too. Do that every once in a while.

Oh I know. I think you'll enjoy it... Haha. We're setting up this idea where your character selection is every Liam Neeson movie character. It has a story that's at least as believable as the old Mortal Kombat games. Haha.

Oscar Schindler vs Ra's al Ghul? No problem.

Dark Man vs Qui-Gon Jinn? You betcha.

My buddy is doing the artwork, I'm setting up stage ideas. I can't wait until we get a test stage done.

Pretty much. I have no qualms about handing cash over to most publishers when they're not pulling shady tactics to nickel and dime customers. I don't think it's a coincidence that these same publishers also have in-house development.

Oh I will have the next Xbox, if only for the new Halo game(s) that will obviously be on it. I'm an "Xbox" guy but I make no excuses for Microsofts craptastic treatment of developers like JAW. Luckily I have a PS3.. and Strangers Wrath HD is just as fun as I remember.

Ryder White campaign I've only heard bad (or even terrible) things about and the Horde type mode was fun for a while but I can't imagine anyone playing that regularly. The content doesn't really justify a GOTY edition.

I really think game devs should call these versions "complete editions." Dead Island is obviously not a GOTY kind of game... yet it gets a GOTY title. Part of the reason why the title "GOTY" means so little.

Yeah, I wasn't too sure about the DLC, but the GOTY edition is the same price as the regular version on Amazon, so I figured I might as well get the new one.

Agree. It's kind of fraudulent to me the way the GOTY title is used so often without basis, obviously with the intention of misleading.

If it's the same price then sure. In fact that's the only way they'll sell any to anyone who does any research lol. The standard game is a lot of fun in co-op though.

I used to think so but it's become accepted amongst gamers that a GOTY edition doesn't necessarily mean it was game of the year, just that it's a release packed with DLC. It's not that big of a deal, I don't think anyone has felt ripped off or mislead after buying a game because it was branded as being game of the year lol.

One of the main reasons I bought a 360 was for Banjo-Kazooie (my favorite game on the N64). Unfortunately Nuts & Bolts was crap. Never cared much for any other exclusives and now with a PS3 and gaming PC, I just get multiplatform games on one of those two. My friends with 360s stopped playing during high school so I haven't had Gold membership in almost 4 years. I'm losing my enthusiasm for games and especially consoles. Only reason I'm getting a WiiU is because I know they will have exclusives I want.
 
I've honestly never "tired" of gaming. It's my hobby. Some people have running, or competitive eating.

I have games. :p
 
So I finally got to and finished the GTA IV expansion packs, and I must say it gave me way more more respect for GTA IV. I love what Rockstar does with it and I must say it's pretty unprecedented.

You're playing with 3 different main characters in their own separate world, and I love how the characters all interact together.

And it also gives me much more respect for the diamonds mission in which all three characters finally come together, and you play that one mission from three different perspectives while also making that single mission even more important because it has a huge effect on the stories of all three characters.

I must say bravo to Rockstar and I hope they attempt this again.

Yeah.. I know (& agree). It's basically an accepted & understood fraud in the gaming community. But I know most of the people in my office who own an XBox but aren't avid gamers (they probably wouldn't be getting any game related info from the internet for eg) would see that in an HMV and think "Game of the Year, wow must be good". Everyone here I would consider to be quite above average in terms of being informed about games. And even though it's accepted, the words 'Game of the Year' have nothing to do with being a complete edition of a game, a complete edition of a Game of the Year game, maybe! :woot:

Haha id like to do both. I mean i run now, but not in like marathons or anything. Iv always wanted to do like a chicken wing eating contest. I think my record is like 30 wings in one sitting.
