I made a Hobbit Mansion in Minecraft. :)

That's pretty sweet. I was thinking I wanted to recreate Camp Crystal Lake in my world.

If you're going to get Minecraft, only get it on the PC.

Yup. The maps are like a thousand times bigger and there are way more features.

Anyhoo I dropped around $300 to upgrade my PC and I've been playing... Terraria. :o I was mining for iron and got sidetracked opening up a zombie aquarium.

If you're a fan of Metroid and classic Castelvania you should check it out Wolfwoood, it's like Minecraft except way more awesome.

The best thing they've done.

I've heard great things about Terraria, but I kind of like the aesthetics of Minecraft more. I was going to buy Minecraft last night, but then I remembered I had finals coming up. I don't want to totally **** myself over by getting mad addicted to a game right now lol.

Well I smell a successful lawsuit coming from many angry people

Not much they can do when a company goes in to administration like that. It depends on the Aussie Laws I guess.

You're paying for a game that they don't produce and not get your money back, oh yeah they'll be lawsuits and they'll be successful

Your place is a lot better than mine. :/

No they won't. The company is going under, there'll be no successful lawsuits.

Edit* Kalel beat me to it

Even if the company wasn't nearly dead, my reaction to someone thinking about suing a corporation is always, "pfffft HAHAHAHA!! Yeah, good luck with that."

I kinda get that. It's not as fun as Terraria but Minecraft can be pretty, especially with texture mods on the PC. This is my fave:

Damn dude, patch up your walls! :o

But heh, that's not even my house! :D That was just me trying to section off water so I could go deeper. This is my house. I set it up at the top of a mountain and cut out multiple tunnels so I wouldn't have to deal with too many enemies starting out. I've never had a zombie bang on my door. I'm in the middle of an expansion, but I also made a bat cave of sorts in an opening I found in the middle of the mountain I'm on.

Hahah sad to hear there aren't gonna be any more updates though.

You should check out Starbound.

Simply stop doing it and let people access the content without further payment, scratch multiple game releases as well and watch people happily buying your games again.

SFxTK came across to many people as pure greed and Im glad poorer sales than expected has possiblity caused them to re-evaluate how they handle DLC. I went on PSN last week and its ridiculous just how much DLC is available for this game and this is before the one that people really want (12 characters!)

It looks like Activision caved in & paid the former Infinity Ward staff what Activision owed them. They are going to now focus their attention on West & Zampella in court

Guess who got ****ed pretty hard down under? Australians who pre-ordered Diablo 3 from GAME retailer learned today, via text message, that Diablo 3 will not be supplied by the retailer and they will NOT be getting their money back.

Good guy Blizzard! Anyone who pre-ordered at GAME and kept their receipt can buy the digital version and have the amount they put down on the game deducted from the online purchase.

We're aware that some Australian GAME customers have been left out in the cold on what should be the hottest night of the year — the launch of Diablo III. To help with this situation and get these players into the game as soon as possible, we've put the following process in place.

Australian GAME customers with a valid preorder/prepurchase receipt dated before May 15, 2012 can do the following:
1. Purchase the digital version of Diablo III from http://www.diablo3.com now or anytime before May 21, 2012.

2. Download and start playing when the servers go live!

3. Submit your GAME Australia preorder/prepurchase receipt to us before June 30, 2012.

4. Receive a credit from Blizzard, for the amount you paid in advance to GAME Australia for Diablo III. This credit will be applied to the payment method used for the digital purchase.

We'll post further details here on how to submit your GAME Australia receipt to our customer service team as soon as possible. Stay tuned, and we look forward to seeing you in the Burning Hells!

I love that after all these years Master Chief is still in love with Kate from Kate's Playground :)

Anyways, everyone knows that PlayStation minis are the scum of the universe but recently I've played three very, very good ones that everyone should check out seeing as they're available on PS3, PSP and Vita.

The first is Where Is My Heart?, and amazing little puzzle game with 8-bit inspirations. It splits up the screen into different segments and them jumbles them around the screen (for example you may start off in a segment on the bottom left, but walking off-screen may lead you to the segment in the top right). It's a platform/puzzler where you have to work out how to level plays out, really great fun.

A Space Shooter for Two Bucks! does exactly what it says on the tin, but offers an in-depth consistent upgrade system that makes it as detailed as any PSN equivalent. It's tough as nails but immensely addicting to grind through.

My favorite and most recent of the bunch is Velocity, another shooter'em up. It's entirely original though, offering intriguing teleporting puzzles as well as time trials all stacked up in a completely capable shooter. Great game and well worth the asking price.

It's scary that you know that coz the chick in my avatar is Heather Vandeven. :o Hahah but yeah, totally true.
