I'm thinking about getting James Bond: Blood Stone and Captain America. Good/bad/decent?

I think Blood Stone, while extremely by the numbers, is the best Bond title to date. It feels more like a Bond film than any previous game save for maybe Everything or Nothing. I'd assume it's hella cheap now and well worth it.

Captain America wasnt terrible either. Like others have said, there's some fun to be had with the game. The combat is pretty cool. Again, if u can find it super cheap, it's not a terrible grab.

Two cool thing's first

The Oculus Rift may give us heart-stopping renders of truly believable environments, but aren’t our other senses being underserved by the expensive peripherals industry? As Real As It Gets thinks so: their gently undulating bodysuit aims to let gamers feel the rumble of a passing vehicle, or the pummel of an assault rifle’s bullet-spray into one’s chest.

One Author Breaks Down the Reality of Violent Games in the Media

The sober truth of the world is often a hard thing for the 24-hour TV news cycle to stomach. Blaming violent games is easy, so it’s refreshing to see someone break down the reality of the situation in one fell swoop.

In the clip above, taken from C-SPAN 2's Book TV, author Karen Sternheimer gives a quick summary of the uncomfortable truths of how the media reports on violent games — about how they regularly warp the findings of violent game studies and ignore the violence that happens every day to children. It's an adult, calm and rational approach to a complicated, systemic failure — which is exactly why it is on C-SPAN 2.

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Edition was just revealed to be Free to Play:

http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/04/dead-or-alive-5-ultimate-free-version-announced

Basically you get access to 4 characters, all stages, costumes and game modes, except for story which will cost $15 and additional characters are $4. Is F2P going to be more of a trend going forward, and I dont mean for just MMOs? I know Sony has been experimenting with this, releasing Killzone 3 and Uncharted 3 as such. Odd seeing a fighter released in this format. What do you guys think?

I don't care about Dead or Alive franchise.
I thought the movie is fun, but things end there

China's League of Legends Clone Is A Bootleg Wonderland

[YT]RL8Ex5jZwM4[/YT]

300 Heroes proves, as CrusaderCast puts it so well in this video, "there is no Mandarin word for copyright", because it doesn't just copy League of Legends (literally, it re-uses LoL's textures), it makes use of as many famous characters from properties it didn't pay for as it can get its hands on.

There seems to be a healthy mix of Western and anime characters in the game, with a donkey-hurling Zorro Shrek easily my favourite.

The game's available to download only in China, surprise surprise, but if you want to give it a shot you can try downloading it from here.

Heh... if only.

I'd like it if konomi bought DMC but it won't happen and my dream of a some what modern day Castlevania cross over with the DMC universe won't happen ether. it's would still be awesome if that would come into being though.

If you like scary things, stay up late for tonight’s @GTTV episode at 1 AM on Spike TV. ATLUS has big news 4 a title coming early next year.

Something new? Persona 5? Some other Shin Megami Tensei game? Catherine 2?

Scary? I don't really associate any Atlus games with horror. I'm curious to see what it is.

All the Persona games have horror overtones with demons and shadows and other things. Persona 4 was definitely the most lighthearted game though...one of the reasons I didn't like it as much. Catherine had horror as well.

On the other hand, this is being announced on the DudeBro U.S. network SPIKE so who knows what's going on, why'd they announce a Japanese developed game there? Just makes ya think of something else with that happening.

I'm interested in both of those but won't be getting them for a while.
Turns out I actually own Blood Stone! No idea when I bought it lol.

Oh boy, zombie... another zombie game. I can hardly contain myself. </first reaction>

We'll see if it's a true survival horror game.

Well, we already know some of their games that are coming out, and others have been rumored or hinted at already. Given how little Capcom seems to care for Megaman, I'm guessing that's not the surprise (though I wish it were, lol). Is Dead Rising still popular enough to be considered a "big" surprise? A RE, and DMC have both already been released recently, so the only thing that would be surprising is that they're releasing another one so soon. They also already teased what many think is the Dragon's Dogma sequel, Deep Down I think it was called, so again, not a surprise. I'd be really happy if it was a Breath of Fire next gen title, but I know it won't be that.

WTF happened to Harmonix. I'm watching DudeBro TV SPIKE right now and they go from Rock Band to Dance Central (eh) to this Fantasia garbage.

Daylight by Zombie trailer shown for PS4 and PC (2014 release date) on GTTV. Looks pretty cool. Like Amnesia. Was this the Atlus game? Didn't say.

I listened to the guys from EpicBattleCry talk about it, and I have to agree with Brent.

"If this doesn't have the ability for you to take on the role of Chernabog the Demon and to raise the souls of the dead, while the music from 'Night on bald mountain' plays, it's not ****ing Fantasia and I don't care."

Atlus makes some good games, I'm glad to see they already have nextgen in focus regardless of what the first game they put out is. I'd like to have seen a Persona, Disgaea, or Demon's Souls sequel though.

It's called Dark Souls.

I know of Dark Souls (and own it), I didn't mean that. I just like Demon's Souls better, and it came first so I typically reference it first because it's what pops into mind. Like saying, "I hope they make another Disgaea sequel". Technically they're at Disgaea 4 with a bunch of PSP spinoffs. I know there's a difference in title names (Disgaea is numbers, Demon's sequel starts with Dark instead of numbering). Anyway it's not a big deal. Just wanted to clarify.

Though now thinking about it, is it a From Software game, with Atlus publishing, or it it Atlus's title?

From developed it, Atlus published it in the west, and Sony owns the IP.
