Red and Fox flew into the air on Charizard's back. Umbreon's Dark Void attack had thrown Mewtwo into a deep confusion, and it was fighting to reorient itself. Red trusted his Pokemon, but not for long against a foe like this.
Fox, on the other hand, seemed to want answers, and now. "Where you from?"
Red sighed. "Pallet Town."
Fox looked at him strangely. "Never heard of it."
"I don't think its anywhere around here. I was searching for a rare Pokemon, and when I found it, it teleported me here. I don't know why I'm here, or why Mewtwo wants to kill me, but I do know that if we don't do something quick it will not only kill us, but tons of innocent people as well." Red looked down at the police who were trying to apprehend Fox. "Listen, if we prevent an attack, they might listen to us. You might be able to reason with them."
I sigh, and look down at the police officers.
"Look, Red." I start.
"They think I'm a criminal or a vigilantee. Either way, they don't want me on the streets. And since I have no idea about this planet, it's shaping up to be one of those days." I look at my communicator, and see a signal starting to get through the higher we go. I smile, and look at Red with hope.
"Red, can you get this thing to go higher?"
Space
Aboard the Great Fox, the team of Star Fox work rapidly at their stations as they push buttons and type hasitly on their computer consoles. A large hare sits in the command chair in the middle of the room. He has a headset on, and keeps pushing the button on the earpiece.
"Hey, Peppy?" A figure that resembles a Toad says.
"Yes, Slippy?"
"I think we're getting a signal on Fox's communicator!"
"A signal?" The hare says excitedly.
"Amazing! Where is he?"
"Uh...I don't know yet...he's somewhere in Galaxy M1W2." The Toad turns to a large robot standing in the corner of the room.
"Hey, Rob. Think you can pinpoint his exact location?"
"I will try." The robot says in a monotone voice.
"Great!" The Toad says gleefully as he jumps into the air.
"Peppy. Should we alert Falco and Krystal?"
"No, not yet." Peppy says in a calm voice.
"They are still prepping the Arwings in the hanger. We'll alert them when we know exactly where Fox is."
"You got it, Peppy." Suddenly, a loud ringing and beeping noise fills the room from every speaker.
"Incoming message from General Pepper." The robot states.
"Patch him through." Peppy says in a commanding tone. A blue hologram suddenly appears from one of the raised platforms in the room. The being has the face of a dog, and wears a military uniform and hat.
"General Pepper here!" He begins.
"Anything to report, Peppy?"
"Actually, sir, we have."
"Well don't keep me in suspense. What did you find?"
"We have a very vague idea of where Fox is. Just a few minutes ago, his communicator's signal came up on the radar."
"Great work, Peppy! Ever since we lost Fox in his hunt for Star Wolf, morale has been low." The General pauses for a moment.
"So, how long until you can tell us where he is?"
"Fox McCloud is in Galaxy M1W2." The robot reports.
"He is located on one of the planets. Any further details will take approximately thirty-six hours to decipher."
"Very well, then. Carry on Star Fox. When you find his location, inform me immediately. You know I am prepared to send the whole Cornerian fleet after him if necessary." Peppy laughs, and leans back in his chair.
"I don't think that will be necessary, sir. But thank you for the offer."
"Your welcome, Peppy. Fox has helped us many times in the past. I want to make sure I can offer the same hand he offered us." The General pauses again, and clears his throat.
"How is Krystal holding up?" He asks compassionately.
"She's alright." Peppy says hesitantly.
"When she found out, she was pretty depressed. Now she just wants us to find him."
"Understandable. Well, I'll let you get back to your work. Remember, don't hesitate to tell me if anything comes up."
"You got it, sir." Peppy says with a smile. The hologram disapears, and everyone goes back to their stations. Peppy stares out at the stars, and sighs.
"Don't worry, Fox." He whispers to himself.
"We'll find you."
Outside the Great Fox, a strange black ship flies quickly by at an intense velocity. Inside, a creature laughs in an evil diabolical tone. He hits a few buttons on the screens in the cockpit of his ship, and suddenly, a familiar conversation plays a loud through the ship's speakers.
"So, how long until you can tell us where he is?"
"Fox McCloud is in Galaxy M1W2."
"Ha! Ha! Ha!" The being laughs.
"Well, well, well, Fox. It appears you didn't run away from our battle. That last explosion sent you into a distant galaxy. Ha! Ha! And while the Great Fox wants more details before they come looking for you, I have all the information I need." The ship's thrusters suddenly burn a hot red, and the ship is propelled faster and faster through the stars. The being laughs again as his ship's wings fold and bend back.
"No one escapes Wolf O'Donnell! Not even a McCloud!"
