My problem with strong looking Kent's is they look like they could be the birth parents of Clark, I like having his folk look much smaller than him. Kurt Russell looks too Supermanly himself.

For sure. Even for Woman of Tomorrow, a story with a non-teenage Kara, Sasha Calle’s pretty much at the top of the age range I’d want them to go for that.

The story they’re adapting is set on Kara’s 21st birthday, so someone who can pass for that age would be preferred.

Yeah, i don't know why really. But when I saw her suggested a while back, she instantly became one of my favorite choices. She is 29, and even if they went with a really young Superman, I still wouldn't mind if Lois was a few years his senior. It would make sense because she is further into her career.

I will say though that there are a lot of choices for Lois thrown around that I support, unlike Superman, where I don't care for most of the suggestions given.

Superman’s almost comically more difficult to cast than his supporting players. I don’t think you’d have to look hard to find actors who could play Lex, the Kents, Jimmy, Perry, etc.

Olivia cooke would be so fun as Lois actually. Might be too old for what they are looking for but either way I want a feisty, snarky lois. They really gotta nail that romance between clark and Lois imo.

Looks-wise, it’s not bad, but like Jacob Elordi, the one role he’s best known for inspires such a strong feeling of dislike in anyone who’s seen it that that might not be the best baggage to bring along to Superman.

Plus we don’t know that he can do an American accent. At least with Cooke, she’s been doing one since before I even knew she was a Brit.
