The HULK Thread - Part 1

It's awesome to see Hulk take on something that's not robotic or a generic faceless alien.

Yes please!! Let the little guy go all out feral.

After the new TV spot, I can totally see it happening.

The "Revengers" are on the rainbow bridge when all of the sudden a sinister howl is heard and then Fenris comes hard-charging out of nowhere.

Sounds awesome. All of these cool characters and creatures seem to be getting a great showing.

After the new TV spot, man I totally can see it happening. The "Revengers" are on the rainbow bridge and all of the sudden a sinister howl is hard when all of the sudden Fenris comes hard-charging out of nowhere at them.
That sounds really cool and most likely will happen. I wonder if Hela whistles at Fenris. :woot:
Either way that's going to be quite a surprise seeing a beast of that size charging against the team. It looks like Hulk is gonna have is hands full for some time.

Just saw this commercial:
[YT]xXXhFHml4G0[/YT]

Funny how marketable Hulk is despite him not having any super successful movies of his own and probably being expensive as hell to render even remotely well. Spider-Man is probably better commercial material and is just as popular but I don't see Spider-Man selling me Coke, cars, soccer or healthcare. Nope it's all about the Green Goliath baby! :D

(If it's not clear I'm not complaining. Just pointing out how counter intuitive it seems.)

And that Hulk is definitely the TR version of the Hulk with that face and hair. It looks a lot like Ruffalo.

Once the average movie viewer gets a taste of the "real" vocal and opinionated Hulk; not that ridiculous "green rage monster" that Marvel Studios has been giving us for over 10 years; Hulk will become a pop culture icon monster.

So true!

I wonder if we'll get any Thor commercials...

Less likely since then they need to get both Marvel and Hemsworth on board. The CGI commercials (Ant-Man was in one as well with the helmet on) only require a company to be in touch with Marvel and an effects company so that's easier and cheaper.

10 years? Outside of the cartoons every live action portrayal can barely form a sentence.

I don't understand why they did that for so long. It's likely everyone in charge though the Hulk was mute.

Or in the case of a recent movie

Punisher: I mean is he mental?
Lex Luthor: Mental meaning slow, was he slow?
Punisher: No.

Yeah it was getting outright strange until Ragnarok.

Hulk is once again the scene-stealer, and a lot of it is that he can finally talk. Great to see him back on the big screen.

Why am I not surprised? :)

Most of the film makers took their inspiration more from the television show than from the comic book. I read an article that came out around the Ang Lee Hulk movie that claimed it was Stan Lee that suggested that a talking Hulk would look silly in a live action movie. Something that was suggested many decades before by Kenneth Johnson, the producer of the television show, which is why Hulk doesn't speak in it. A view that Stan didn't hold at that time. See my tagline quote.

Said it before but would love an after credits scene of Skaar being born.
