Is it just me or are they deliberately making it look obvious that Daredevil is blind?

The eyes on the costume sort of do look like the eyes of a blind man, am I the only one seeing this?

Not just that, but they are deliberately making it look obvious that the costume designers are blind too.

From this angle/shot at least I think the suit looks quite decent actually

I think the cowl looks better in profile than head-on.

If they manage to get Iron Fist's costume wrong, then there really is no hope, especially when DD's season 1 costume looked like Iron Fist's costume all in black, especially his mask.

I don't really like anything about that suit. Affleck's was loads better.

This. Affleck's was at least iconic and had a better shade of red and cowl. Surely the designers here could've built off that and made a version that wasn't in leather. Instead it's like they've thrown the baby out with the bath water just to distance themselves from that.

Nope. That top pic looks awful and shows off that horrible M shape above his brow even more. Why did they even think to put that on him? It looks so ugly. The bottom pic isn't as bad but he can't go around with his head down the whole time. The moment he tilts his head up slightly it begins to look terrible again.

Nothing about his suit says DareDevil, I almost wished they would have kept him in the original all black. Affleck's suit wasn't perfect, but it was head and shoulders above this new suit. I understand wanted to be original and different, but how do you explain that suit?

but are there better pics of the netflix suit unaltered? i agree that the suit looks bad, but i was of the opinion that the one's i linked look the least bad, if that makes sense.

i noticed the common element was the reflectiveness or shine off the eye lenses, which mitigate some of the ugliness lol.

In terms of MCU outfits, I feel like this one is the only real misfire. I say that as someone who didn't mind Captain America's suit from the first Avengers movie.

It's weird because everything else about this show is nearly perfect.

OMG, I'm gonna sound like a massive a-hole. But as a fan of the suit. I am so glad the kept it the way they did. I love the minor changes the seem to have made along the eyes and forearms. I also love the complaints about the suit. Makes it all the more delicious to be a fan of the design when your one of the only people who like it. It's just like, ever want pizza for dinner and everyone else wants burgers. But the burger place is closed so you all have to order pizza? No? Course not, just an example. But that's how I feel like right now. The one guy who got his way.Okay, I feel like he worlds biggest jerk.


For the record I would be open to a few changes in the future though. I think they'll change it more to classic when DD joins the Defenders. Or maybe it'll evolve towards the end of the season more. I think atleast the Logo will be added by the end of this season. But for now, wow, you guys are gonna have to tolerate that suit for atleast a good 2 or(likely) more hour long episodes.


Look on the brightside atleast it's not the ketchup and mustard suit he originlly had in the comics(the yellow and red one).

I would prefer an better tailored Yellow & Black costume to the dew rag Underarmor outfit, and this recolored Captain America costume.

Just brighten the red area of the suit, that's literally my only problem with it. Here's the Marvel Future Fight character model compared to the pic above:

Looks badass and just plain better.

I really like the costume. Far from perfect and a bit too busy, but I like the tactical fabric plus armor plates look. I'm fan of his black/red costume in the current comics as well. The most curious thing to me is that he appears to be wearing sneakers in that pic? Haha. I don't care but just I'm so used to every superhero having calf high boots. My favorite part is the black eye lenses that reinforce the "blind" look and make him look more demonic in conjunction with the stylized pointed brow.

I think it looks really badass in the concept art. The live execution of it is not quite as sleek.

As I mentioned in general discussion the costume looks like it fits a lot better now than last season where it looked like Charlie was sort of drowning in it at times.

Even if people aren't fans of the design that fact should help the costume look better in action.

The shot with DD tied up actually looks really close to the comics.

Just make it all the one colour, and the same colour asGustin's Flash suit. It wouldn't be perfect, but it would still be a huge improvement.

The whole head gear seems really hard to pull off.

My hope really is to make it more ninja like and less tactical Captain America like.

I feel it should be a similar approach to Black Panther.

The costume just looks too blocky and angular. If they smoothed down the mask it would be better. Affleck's mask had a better shape and contours.
