I wonder what the chances are of seeing Winter Soldier and War Machine in TA2? Maybe not as members, but just seen helping out when disaster strikes. Maybe that's something they would save for TA3.

I think they can add an after-credit scene that sets up Thor: TDW by having Fury mentioning something that ties to this sequel. I don't think they need to do anything for Cap 2 or WS yet because it is still very far away.

I disagree. I hope that in the Avengers 2 that the team is taken off the planet and that a secondary team has to be assembled to battle an assault on Earth.

It would have been nice imho if they could have had Mark Ruffalo cameo as Bruce in the Post Credit Scene of this film like how RDJ did as Stark in TIH, especially since we won't be seeing Banner until TA2.

As long as Wright makes the movie he wants, I am good. He is far too talented to have interference.

I disagree completely. Nobody's too big a fish that they shouldn't be expected to be a team player. Now I think Wright will be. He's held on all these years that his Ant-man movie has been talked about. If he were a prima donna he'd have bailed long ago.

The MCU needs talented guys like him making their movies but it also needs those guys to see the big picture and not let ego get in the way.

Regarding Edgar Wright's tweet he did say 'one shot' not 'one scene' there is a huge difference and I'm pretty sure as a professional director Wright isn't going to say one thing and mean another. I'm thinking it won't be anything Ant-Man.

And what big picture is there other then to make the best movie possible? That is a problem I have with the MCU. It is sprinkled with great moments, fun, and a fair few very good films (heck I even find some stuff to like about IM2). But they haven't made a great movie yet imo. And part of me thinks it is down to the production line of films and perhaps a bit too much interference, in the need to build to a goal beyond each individual film.

It is easy to line the movies up in a general way, and really that is all that is necessary imo. And from what I have seen from IM3 and what little we know about the other pre-A2 films, I think they might be doing that and that great film may come in phase 2.

I personally consider the first Iron Man to be a great film but agree with you otherwise. Fingers crossed for IM3. Everything about it screams "THIS WILL BE GREAT".

The most likely I see is Falcon, since he's in the new show as well.

That's a popular theory, but I don't think we'll see it. It doesn't appear that we'll be losing any members of the team in A2, and Whedon wants a female member added. I think Wasp or Ms. Marvel comes before Falcon or anyone else.

I'm not sure I like the updated color timing in that clip above. The brighter, more vibrant look in the trailers was more pleasing. I don't know why they morphed it into such a dimmer, duller look. I withhold final judgment though until I've seen it at the big screen.

Can't get an accurate Mandarin because of a fear of offending the Chinese? The solution was rather simple, make him North Korean. It would've been timely. Kim Jong Ill's better, half brother who was passed over for the throne. Brother Kim was furious that his dictator dad ignored him and his grand vision for a nation that would rival their neighbor China for a half wit like Jong Ill who depraved and degraded the nation to what it is today.
