This is hardly a surprise. From the looks of things, [BLACKOUT]'the Mandarin' will be simply the facade of a madman manipulated by Killian into making terrorist videos so that the government will give the Extremis project funding. [/BLACKOUT]

People going in expecting [BLACKOUT]a faithful portrayal of the comic book character[/BLACKOUT] will be sorely disappointed.
 
Anyone else find the "One Hero is Not Enough" tagline of the new commercial a bit odd?
 
Yes, but it's no worse than that kids show commercial. I just tool it for something similar. They're selling it to little kids. As long as it isn't what the movie is like then I don't care how they sell it.

Well I meant in a sense that they made this big issue about IM3 going back to Tony in his own world and not needing the Avengers .... and yet one hero is still not enough. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the people who likes having War Machine, but the tagline is just peculiar.
 
Well you can tell with the tone of some of these ads that they are aiming very juvenile.

well from what i can gather from all the videos [BLACKOUT]Killian and Mandarin both work together but Killian will lose his *****, takes extremis, and becomes the immediate villain, only to be killed by the end of the movie.....Mandarin on the other hand, his fate is probably unknown by the end...
they really are setting up for another IM movie[/BLACKOUT]
 
Looking forward to some early reviews.

Yeah, they're basically setting up the rivalry.
 
Any early twitter responses? Know they had some for The Avengers last year.
 
whats with all the embargo? There has been very little in the way of reaction to this film and the first release is in 4 days. Why has there not been any early screening reactions? That I really dont understand. There has been some reactions but overall not very much.
 
there's got to be more to mandarin. We won't get an Ironman 4 most likely in phase 3. There may not even be room for it. I'm sure there is more to mandarin's character than what has been revealed so far. Remember Fiege did say there will be things that won't be picked up on until you watch the film a few times. I'm sure there's more to mandarin

Didn't the Paris screening end a few hours ago? Surprised there is no chatter on twitter.
