The Iron Man 3 trailer has been shown in London at an Avengers Blu-Ray/DVD event in Hammersmith. My friend attended. He gave me a jumbled description, but it sounds like a slightly different SDCC trailer and NOTHING like that supposed description a few weeks ago, so I'm assuming that's fake.

Before you ask, they collected in all phones and cameras so no one filmed it.

TBH i knew that trailer sounded wayy too serious and fake,..

Yep the Thor: The Dark World threads is pretty much where it's at now out of the Marvel Studios films.

Crazy. I'm glad to hear it, but I'm surprised we're getting as long a trailer as that. Seemed like they were shown something longer than the typical teaser.

Well the main bulk of filming has finished and it's been going on since May (4 months) so I'm not surprised.

Extremis is featured in it a lot, with sort of 'home videos' of Tony trying it out and failing the first few times. I was told about one part in it where the mask is flying towards him and Tony says, "I'm not afraid of you," and then it hits him in the face (I think).

Yep the Thor: The Dark World threads is pretty much where it's at now out of the Marvel Studios films.

I didn't wanna cause a problem and say that but I noticed that to , Thor TDW forum is surprisingly poppin compared to any forum and iron man is farther in production lol.. right now sucks cause there so much speculation but no real news..I feel like this time next year will be really fun to come on here

dont worry its now the lag period of IM3 where production is complete (except for the probable reshoots in October) and no news or trailer comin out...
i am sure it will pick up by the early of october to december

Yup, its going to be all Thor news for the next couple months then that will die down in time for the IM teaser then the trailer during the Superbowl then the Cap production and IM promotion will pick up steam.

all we have to remember is dat this is the only dry period we r gonna hve...
by the time IM3 comes out and over, thor trailer come out along with cap promotion, and by the time thor comes out we should get a cap trailer and so on

Agreed. Though I remember, i saw the first Thor trailer online in july of 2010, the movie came out may 2011. So ya never know

that would be the leaked comic con trailer..the actual trailer came out december of 2012

No, we had ACTUAL LEGAL footage attached to the end of Captain America: The First Avenger and that opened in JULY 2011! That's why it seems so long and dry and unfair this year...

Footage of Avengers, you mean, and that's sort of a special case.

This is a pretty typical gap in news.

from the luks of it no leaked footage is ever gonna come out...
MOS got lucky with this years SDCC leaked footage while marvel has no luck of leaked footage being out and the last one was thor back in 2010

quick question to anyone who went to dat blu ray event in UK: was the preview shown a full length teaser/theatrical trailer or just a random show of clips like in SDCC?
cuz if was a trailer, we may get the first one by early October

Thats a relief im just suprised this forum is so dead right..never seemed it was ever "poppin" idk maybe people arent as interested in the new franchises of MCU idk i hope it gets more information soon..I think i just wanted to see Phase II what direction its going in.
