I just pray to Lucas that POS golden armour isn't Extremis.

Man if that gold armor turns out to be Extremis I will be so disappointed. But I have a feeling that this will be the Armor Tony will use for most of the film like the spy shots we see of the Air force One crew and when Tony is attacked by Mandarin or whoever and has to "go back to the cave days" he will have the Extremis Armor at the end of the movie.

I personally like them both and think they will both be awesome on film. Just imagine the possibilities!

My only issue with it is I wish they had added just a touch more red on his torso but otherwise I've been cool with it since day 1.

There hasn't really been much hate directed towards it. Mostly everyone just wished it had a touch more red. It certainly hasn't drawn as much venom as other costumes in the past (like amazing spideys, frex)

I mean I'm not in love with it, but I think once it's all said and done it will look pretty gnarly on screen. Maybe there's not a lot of hate on this forum but around the web it seems like 60/40 hate-love haha

took me a while to liken up to the new iron man armor but it's pretty epic and seems to be the final armor he'll wear in the film considering it's being used for promo art and such.

I like it because it's different. It's more of a "leveled up" suit if you will. Like it looks kind of garish, but you know it's probably got a lot more **** under the hood.

I like the new suit, I see some people saying if it had more red they'd like it more. Did we not get enough red though in his suits in IM, IM2 and Avengers? Change is good, I think it will look even better in action.

It's not about colour quantity, it's about aesthetics. The new suit needed a tiny bit more red to break up the... gold and the... gold is more creamy than gold which, in my eyes, merges terribly with the red.

And, to be honest, the actual design is not at all different in philosophy from the Mark 2-7 suits.

So yeah, fail on all fronts, as far as I'm concerned. And it's not that the movie itself with the suit in motion will likely change my mind, since in the official reveal photo you could compare the new suit's gold to that of the older suits'. There a stark difference and that difference will be there in the finished product.

It honestly looks more menacing than his original suit. If you saw that thing bearing down on you with that blank look on the faceplate you'd piss yourself.
