There was a poll by the odious Mark Penn that made respondents choose only between Israel (80%) or Hamas (20%). Of course this is somewhat of a misleading comparison between a killer nation-state and a killer terrorist organization so that skews the margin between the two a bit and leaves the people bearing the true brunt of the invasion out of the discussion.

Calling Adams a democrat is fairly insulting. He's a former NYPD cop, and all that that entails.

And frankly, blaming the president and not the protesters for controlling their members who started calling for the death of zionists (I don't care about the nuances of that word, you lose when you call for deaths of anybody) is a bit frustrating. The same logic of Charlottesville applies to these protests. You accept nazis into your protest, well.....

That “Kill the Jews” was literally said by a Zionist counter-protester. But yeah, you’re right. Totally okay for the NYPD to just bust the skulls of student protesters.

And yes, it absolutely is okay to call Biden out for his weakness in this moment. I don’t care what the political ramifications are, there are times when you need to pick a side, and Genocide is one of those moments.

I don't know about the election, because a lot more can happen between now and November, and Trump is running an anemic campaign.

But I want to second your point about infiltrated protests. That's what the authorities are known to do. So if one person at a protest says "kill the Jews" or whatever, we should not assume that they represent the protests.

These sort of reactions by police isnt just isolated in New York, its happening everywhere in many states, its not just New York, its happening in Texas, Ohio, Florida on and on, singling out New York and saying its condoned by Democrats when the biggest supporters of Isreal are hard right Maga republicans is extremely narrow minded, this countries unwavering support is universal by both parties, in fact Republicans are far more hard line than Democrats, if reelected Trump would greenlight anything Isreal wants to do, in all this we forget that innocent people are dying and neither party in this country seems interested in doing much about it, where is the outrage by the republican controlled house? so we as americans need to look in a mirror, its not a blue vs red thing

China is trying something that Russia did not succeed at at a month or two ago.

They're hosting the leadership of the different Palestinian factions (Farah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc) to try and encourage them to put aside their differences, and lead the Palestinian people with a single voice in this time of crisis.

It's a diplomatic initiative, which if successful would enhance the ability of the Palestinian people to represent themselves internationally.
