Fancasting Skarsgard as The Joker because he had played another iconic clown character is like people fancasting actors for Lex Luthor just because they had previously played bald characters.

I acknowledged that, but like I said, I've yet to see anyone better suggested. It's almost as silly to say that he can't play Joker because he was Pennywise imo.

I just don't think casting the evil clown as the evil clown would be an exciting choice!

That's fair. I don't think he's the only person for the job, but if he were cast I'd be happy with it.

Maybe so. I like Adam Driver a lot, and would actually like to see him as Batman himself. But as Joker I'm not sure.

To be fair, he's trying to scare kids. By the time they're adults, the fact that doesn't scare them anymore is partly the point.

Yes! Finally someone said it. Overrated as hell. Not even good. I liked that the movies gave us some elements of the book that weren’t in the miniseries, but overall Tim Curry’s Pennywise was soooo much better and scarier.

Then why did his Pennywise still scare the adults in the second movie? Lol

I find Driver’s too big and his voice is too deep for Joker. Not a single thing about him makes me think of the character. And that Cameron kid in the Gotham show was atrocious.
