Joker? What makes you think that?I think it’ll go to Lakeith Stanfield tbh

I lowkey think a black Joker makes a lot of sense. And if you’re going with a black Joker, there’s clearly no better option IMO. You could really play up that dichotomy of privileged white boy vs the downtrodden black man. Delve into just how different two people’s life can be in the same city, because of the family you’re born into. Feels pretty relevant to meJoker? What makes you think that?
Or you could just make him permawhite by chemicals just like the comics and animated series and videogames and to hell with it, which regardless of which actor they cast I'd prefer if they went that route.I lowkey think a black Joker makes a lot of sense. True, I only realized this morning how my comment could be perceived as offensive. I didn’t mean for it to be at all. In my head, I was thinking of portraying Batman as a more complicated character than the way he is normally portrayed.Um. Don’t think Joker is necessarily the best character to represent that struggle.
Upon further thought, I think the best approach for a black Joker would likely be to not even play up the racial element.
Why are those two options the only options for the character? He should be dynamic, that’s the point of Two-Face. Eckhart did a great job, but let’s be honest, we didn’t see Two-Face as much as “good guy Harvey” and Two-Face didn’t exactly show both sides of the coin.Driver’s not going to spend most of a movie under a mask again!
Why would you want Lakeith for Dent? Limiting him to either a straight laced Harvey or an angry Two-Face would be a big misuse of his talents.
For me it's either Adam Driver, Will Poulter, or Caleb Landry Jones.
Don't care.Boring.
You’re rightCool. What other bland white actors can we think of?
Would Jake be a possibility? He's one of the few actors I can think of who has that level of intensity.
