Seems a bit shorter and swept back to me. Still, it's not too long that it'll draw Ledger comparisons the way Phoenix did (not that that's a bad thing)

He's got the right acting chops and charisma for sure, but I feel like I'd just see Saul Goodman in a really good Joker costume

Most likely. I've always liked the younger-looking Joker interpretations, even as someone who LOVES the Arkham Knight Joker (that version specifically).
 
Pretty much The Joker will be an actor in his late 20s or 30s not his late 50s or 60s! I love how youtuber Heavyspoilers and others thought Phoenix's Joker is in the same universe as Reeve's Batman(just because they like the movie). Now because everyone thinks it's going to be Depp in the role because of cosmic book news,screenrant and we got this covered. Please tell me when did those sites got anything right ?? Just recently Kevin Smith got everyone hyped for Daredevil in Spidey 3 only to find out he saw it on we got this covered lol
 
Is The Batman even rated-R? It's just that Joaquin spoiled me. I'm not really sure about a PG-13 Joker anymore, but I could easily be swayed/proven wrong.
 
I don't think it'll have an R-Rating, and I'm sure if you remove the language and excessive violence in some cases the difference between the two ratings/depictions would be minimal.

There been so violent and tense PG13 movies too from Winter Solider to The Dark Knight etc. I think DC should chill on the R rated movies. They should used it when it comes to certain charecter like SS,Lobo,Midknighter and maybe Wildcats etc. Like Marvel it's Deadpool,Blade,solo Wolverine etc. Making everything rated R will get boring because everyone will get too used to it.I think they both are doing a great job so far! Judging by that Riddler victim I think The Batman will be tense so you don't have to worry about when Reeves bring in The Joker bro:up::yay:

You know how some live-action Jokers have played up whatever seems to be bothering society (heh) and/or reflect our collective fears more or less? Heath Ledger was essentially a terrorist in 2008, Leto's Joker was arguably about power and control over others in 2016, and Phoenix's Joker was focused on mental health and how it could have been treated correctly in 2019.

What if this new Joker weaponized a virus he created somehow? It doesn't even have to be his sole motivation or main goal in the movie or anything. It could just be one of the many crimes he commits. I'm just throwing ideas out there, and this might not be a very good time to be talking about something like this, but again I'm talking out of my @$$ right now.

Probably doesn't seem that great of an idea the more I think about it. I'd rather see him directly get his hands dirty.

Nah about time the Joker is back on the screen the weaponized virus Ideal will be gold! Who else can make us more uncomfortable then the freaking Joker doing something like that! We know he blow up buildings and murder at random anyway. So long story short I like the Ideal:up:.I want to see The Joker as a crazy maniac unpredictable master mind who is has his own style of fighting. So comicbook bleach skin with the grounded Reeves approach is he doing now with The Batman and we have a match made in crazy Heaven!:joker:
