This is a cool Joker design despite the crappy show it comes from. I'd like to think he could play a movie Joker, but I'm really not sure.
Meh. It just seems like another cookie-cutter Lifetime drama with stock music, bad sound quality, and "qUiRkY" characters. I feel like Gotham's version of Penguin is a prime example of that cringey quirkiness, which is a shame because the actor seems like a really nice guy. All of them do, actually
Hopefully this new trilogy does too. Honestly, if they want to connect it to the larger rebooted DCEU, then I don't see any reason for villains like Pyg or Firefly to make a cameo at the very least.
I honestly feel that if he had Jerome's voice, he'd probably need to wear louder, flashier suits. He seems too sophisticated at this stage IMOI actually really liked that look. Maybe it's the hat. But had they married that look with the Jerome voice, they would have had a great Joker.
For what it's worth, I liked his Season 5 pre-chemicals look the most with the greenish hair, feminine eyebrows, and darker lipstick. And the suit he was wearing (glittery blue jacket, black suit, black pinstripe pants, and red shirt and tie) is just a good Joker suit in general.I actually really liked that look. Maybe it's the hat. But had they married that look with the Jerome voice, they would have had a great Joker.
Aaron Paul is a fantastic actor, but I'm not sure if he's Joker material.
He's alright. I'm not convinced he's what people have made him out to be. Definitely not joker material.
Something like the killer in Seven could work before the Joker goes after Batman

From start to finish. He was fine to even great in some parts. He was never bad. But his work outside of that has been largely boring. He's easily one of my least favorite parts of westworld right now too.
