Freeman would be great.
a manip of morgan freeman when he was like 40! Or when Denzel was around that age.
I see it from a financial success point of view.
I have only seen Duhamel in Transformers as well, but honestly if they just took the character he playes in Transformers, slap a green mask on him and a ring - voila! You got a perfect Green Lantern for a JLA film, IMO.
My top choice is Duhamel though. He is Hal Jordan IMO.

Yes!

However, if they go with Hal I think Reynolds could do a better job with better direction.

I think Duhamel is perfect casting. Even if the movie sucked he still would have made an awesome GL, IMO. ...manips, anyone?
Will Smith is an A-list actor. WB probably wouldn't want to pay him such a high salary epecially if they intend to make a franchise which means locking an actor into a contract for multiple movies.
Unless someone like Will Smith is willing to take a paycut WB will be looking at cheaper actors.
Smith will never do a movie where he (or one of his kids) is not the star.

you're the second person who's said this. has he actually said this or are you just repeating what lencho has been saying in the other thread?

because that movie made him a massive star.Look at his career. Ever since Independence Day, he has not done a movie where he is not the star.
the first I've heard of this was with django, and I'd like to know specifically what. as much as i liked that film, the over use of the n-word was a bit of a turn off.And he also has a team of people who review scripts and often rewrite them for him. He famously turned down both The Matrix (for Wild Wild West) and Django Unchained (for After Earth), because the filmmakers would not allow his people to rewrite the movie for his brand.
what a heroic one?Think about all the sci-fi blockbusters he's in. Men in Black films. I, Robot. Wild Wild West. Hancock. I Am Legend.
He plays a very specific guy who is in all of them. It is a brand that has been carefully cultivated for well over a decade.
lol i meant to put that in quotations."Colored" really?![]()
Pfft that's ridiculous. I don't see Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington or Sam Jackson complaining. Spike Lee's an idiot for saying what he says about QT's movies , especially for Django. And Sam Jackson isn't afraid to tell him that either.ЯɘvlveR;25449493 said:it was a fantasy film. i don't know how you can excuse it by saying, that's how it was back then. it was gratuitous. and i say this as someone who isn't black and who is a fan of quentin.
