Cheetah anyone?

My out-of-the-box casting of Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva would go to Jessica Lucas!

I'd LOVE Anna Torv as Barbara Minerva but my guess is they'll go for a bigger name.

Alicia von Rittberg (if she knows or learns English) for Supergirl.

I think I would have preferred Sullivan Stapleton or Callan Mulvey being cast as Aquaman instead of Jason Momoa. They at least could pass for looking like Aquaman. Momoa looks like he was born to play Lobo; casting him as Aquaman feels sloppy.

You haven't seen him in the character yet to take that judgment.

Based on what I've seen of his previous work I really don't get an Aquaman vibe from him.
I think that is better. Because is an out of the box and he could amaze us more than you may think. Plenty of great performance came the same. I'm not saying this will be automatically great, but I think we better wait till see him.

Just saw that Tyrese may be considered for and god help us if true, John Stewart/ Green Lantern. He even got a fan pic of him as GL on his Instagram page. I'm shaking about the possibility as JS. Please WB dont cast this guy.

Too bad we can't get Idris Elba as John Stewart (if they go that route).

I think this is BS. WB would never allow an actor to publicly announce or hint that he is going to an audition or a meeting with executives for a potential role in one of their biggest movie franchises. If this was a rumor that got started by many reliable sources, I would've been more inclined to believe it, but the fact that he decided himself to post it on his social media accounts tells me it's bullcrap. WB just doesn't work this way. And if it does turn out to be true in the end, not my first choice for the role at all. Stewart shouldn't look like a stand-up comedian. Either way, I think WB should give Jordan another chance after they took such a huge dump on him last time.

You must have forgotten about all the hints the rock posted before being officially announced.

The Rock never specifically stated who he was going to play before he announced Black Adam. He hinted at John Stewart a couple of times in twitter hashtags or interviews, then around comic con he announced he was going to be Black Adam. Tyrese doesn't hint at anything, he blatantly says he hopes to play John and posts fan pics of himself in the role, quoting the GL oath. If there is some truth to it, that's not how WB usually conducts their business. Jason Momoa didn't say a word about his casting before it was announced, despite that they knew we were all aware of it. Makes no sense to me why they would go 180 here.

Edit: You know, the more I think about this, the more I'm convinced it's actually true. He just post another pic with "20|20 I am fully committed to suit up for this adventure". Now, if he was lying about this whole thing, why would he be aware of when the movie comes out? He wouldn't care about details like that if he wasn't associated in any way with it. So for now I'm inclined to believe this story. Very disappointing to say the least, I hoped they would give Hal another chance and better portrayal this time especially considering they seemed to be going with the New 52 Justice League line-up, but they probably thought they should get away from the 2011 movie as much as possible and from a recognition standpoint, it does makes sense to go with John Stewart. I'm not pleased neither by this, nor the casting choice but of course I will give it a chance. I can only hope they make a better movie this time.

Well I've been following Tyrese on instagram and it's not official. He wants the role. Someone even posted that WB wants Elba for the role but because of his commitment to Marvel he can't take it. I'm not sure about that at all. I just don't know why he wouldn't be allowed to take the role of GL? As long as he honor s his contract to them what's the problem. I can't believe that he's not allowed to work on another comic role from a different studio. I can't imagine Marvel putting such a clause in a contract.

Tyrese is no John Stewart. I can't think of anyone more miscasting then Tyrese. Although he seems passionate about it i cant imagine that WB would hire this guy, especially when you have good actors that are out there, like David Oyelowo, Nate Parker, or Laz Alonso. I like Tyrese for what he does but he's just not a good actor. He plays the same type guy in all his roles. Maybe he can do it but i just think their are far better choices out there. If WB wants a musician Common is good, heck i'd even take TI over him.

As far as wanting Hal, i really don't know if WB wants to use the character after that horrible GL film, if they do i would like to see RR back in the role for consistency. I don't blame him for the failure cause he was the bright spot of the movie. I know if Hal is used they are going to recast.

well it would be interesting to see if WB uses Stewart. Two black guys and Jason Momoa on the same team? WB would really be one upping Marvel in terms of diversity. I would love is they used Stewart but i think they can also use Kyle and cast a Hispanic actor.

So you think Tyrese is lobbying for himself?

Jake Gyllenhaal or Jensen Ackles for Hal Jordan.
Ali Larter for Black Canary (sequel)
Charlie Hunnam for Green Arrow (sequel)

Jake Gyllenhaal would be perfect as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern or how about Garrett Hedlund as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern

Now for John Stewart how about Morris Chestnut or Taye Diggs or Boris Kodjoe

As Green Arrow, Hunnam would be my odds on favorite for the role of Oliver Queen

Ali Larter she is actually perfect as Black Canary

Viggo Mortensen as Green Arrow

Looks like we can add Pine to this cast list as Trevor. Since he will probably wind up in one if not both of these JL films as an ARGUS agent or the head of ARGUS.

I can definitely see Jake G possibly being looked at as Hal Jordan now that it seems Pine as Steve Trevor.

For Justice League part 1 (vs the Legion of Doom):
Lex Luthor: Jesse Eisenberg
The Joker: Adrien Brody
Harley: Margot Robbie
Cheetah: Eva Green
Black Manta: Will Smith
Deathstroke: Brad Pitt

for the Superman solo:
Brainiac: Tilda Swinton

For Justice League part 2:
Darkseid: Rodrigo Santoro
Granny Goodness: Meryl Streep
Desaad: Jackie Earle Haley

Tilda Swinton is a crazy outside the box choice as Braniac....BUT....I like it! I like JEH as Desaad also.
