So I was finally able to come by an Armored Zod that doesn't look like it was stocked by Zod himself lol. But our areas seem to have skipped past the Shackle/Command Key wave......those might get expensive real soon. :/

Was reading through a bit of the novelization, and I couldn't help but wonder about all the extra dialogue in there (such as in the interrogation scene where Hamilton theorizes about Superman's ability to fly). I'd be curious to know how much of that was in the original script, and how much is just embellishment from the author.

Either way, it's really good stuff, and makes me want to see an Extended Cut of this movie even more!

Most of that dialogue was in the script. I was pretty scrupulous about sticking to the script.

A trip to Chapters resulted in finding most of the magazine covers I was looking for. Checked the mail on the way home and Faora and Armored Zod were there to greet me! Almost done collecting for "Man of Steel" which is bittersweet!

Hoping to get one of the keyrings at some point, the one featured earlier (that sold on eBay) was pretty awesome but, $185 for a keychain... ugh. I like, no I loved the movie but good lord, that's a bit excessive for a few dollars worth of metal.

Now if it was made of Kryptonite or something, that might make it worthwhile.

So no one has had any luck tracking down that steel Man of Steel keychain so far it seems. I know they're being given away as promo items at some viewings and also in that Schick contest that's of course not even valid for us here in the US (I have to wonder why companies do things like that, I really do, especially in this particular situation: it's SUPERMAN for Pete's Sake, sheesh).

I sure hope they go on sale at some point. I noted one on eBay (one of the promo ones) and it went for $185 which is just crazy to me. But so far that's the only thing I've seen aside from a USB "House of El Command Key" which could be pretty cool to have if someone would do it right (meaning not make it out of plastic, but perhaps aluminum for the symbol itself with a plastic covering for the USB plug itself).

Guess we'll see what happens, but I definitely want one of those keyrings, that would be awesome to have.

This statue looks pretty cool in the pic, but seeing it in person... not so much. It looks cheap, and the pose and expression just look odd.
