Just got an update/preview of the suit I'm getting (will be finished tomorrow night):

The "belt" is being made smaller to the actual size, collar area being trimmed, finishing of details, etc. Can't wait to get this.

I don't think that's a bad price at all. I have a modified Batman Panther Suit. That was an expensive suit. All that black rubber.

It would be amazing to invest in that suit myself, but my body needs some conditioning first. It's been sometime since I could fit in my Spidey outfit.

Yeah I started working out heavier and modified my diet, going to go on a modified P90X routine with a couple of heavy weight lifting days to fit my schedule. I have my protein powder ready, and its going to be nothing but a lot of chicken, tuna, veggies and fruit for a while.

No problemo. It is a little hard to notice with him standing right in front of the sun like that. I'm assuming they didn't want to make it overly obvious that is was all black. I love that statue but I do wish it were a slightly different pose or mold or something instead of just a repaint with a different base. Still pretty nice that they even made it though.

Ah I see, shows how engrossed I was that I didn't notice lol. Yeah it would have been cool if the facial expression showed the look of shock on his face and maybe have one of his feet slipping into the skull base. Still a nice statue though.

Its one guy making them, and he has a list over at the RPF. I think he's making about 20 right now. He's updating it to be more movie accurate, so images of version 2.0 will be up later this week.
