I bought it and the command key superman. Says they ship out around the 7th of July. It was $39 for both after shipping, tax, and 10% off for first order. Now I just have to hope they arrive in mint shape..

Not sure if anyone else knows but TRUs website had 3 different superman movie masters listed, the third with no picture, maybe this black suit was the third and will be TRU exclusive besides shopmattels site?

I just preordered the Man Of Steel Premium Format Figure from sideshow, for next year. Cannot wait. For my money, Cavills Superman is visually the coolest I have ever seen and that includes the comic versions.

I love the strong neck and face. It's a fantastic job. But the body... My hype was hurt when I saw this. It's just a let down for me. The body is way off accurately. He just looks fat. I do appreciate they were going for size and didn't make him all weirdly thin but they just went too far in the opposite direction. The airbrushed muscles on the suit look ridiculous and not what I expected from Hot Toys. I saved money for this for two years totally confident that it was going to be the best Superman figure ever. It's the main reason I started this thread.

I agree. I definitely expect greatness from Hot Toys. They have had a few turds in the past and then they come out with the DX version which is just superb as they learn from all of their mistakes.

I have quite a few Hot Toys batman pieces (89 Keaton Batman, DX2 Dark Knight Rises Batman, DX2 Dark Knight Joker, Dark Knight Rises Bane, the Bat-Pod and the Tumbler) and all are absolutely exquisite pieces.

The MOS figure is a little on the subpar level as i love the head sculpt, the body is definitely off a bit.

I will wait for their second effort in the form of which i am only speculating, DX. Hopefully with a few different heads for other facial expressions and perhaps a stand to pose him flying and additional gear such as clothing that Clark wore in the film. Or perhaps a second figure packed along with supes but in all Black Garb like in the film. Now that would be sweet!!!

We shall see what Hot Toys pulls out in the coming months and year. I can't wait for them to do a Zod piece hopefully DX with his armor as well.

well if you guys look it said that is the prototype...it's not the final product. But it looks damn good to be a prototype...just like I think the Movie Masters prototype face looks 10x better than the final product.

Questionn, since Mattel has the black movie masters Superman coming out, do you think we could get a whole other wave of figures or that it may just be the third superman TRU had on their website at one point as an exclusive?

I emailed Jakks Pacific about the 31" black Supes and they said it will be at the following stores come fall.

ya they sold out from the actual underarmour website, I emailed them and said they will get more eventually but they don't know an eta, sucks because if I knew this was being released I would have bought it immediately.

Yeah I emailed them too and said they we will be releasing our second shipment of the Alter Ego Gear this summer! They should be dropping onto the site towards the mid-late summer. Keep checking back for those! Damn I wish i knew about it too !! I am a bodybuilder and I love Under Armour Gear !!

I also am an avid lifter and bodybuilding addict, but to be honest I usually wear stringers I found UnderArmour to be pretty restrictive at times, but I would wear this for any of my cardio routines just because it's so badass.

I was flipping throught it at B&N and seems to be mostly concept art with few text, might have to wait and get it cheaper.

Curiously I saw that B&N discounted off the similar book that came out for The Dark Knight Rises so maybe the MOS books will find a same fate.
