The Dark Knight The Man Who Laughs: The Joker Thread 2.0

That's bad conduct: The enterTAINment should never touch the buffet :o

ok sorry to ask because its prob been asked a million times

but where the heck is the art thread?

It's funny, I always imagined him slopping out on cheeseburgers and fries. Something this little episode re-affirmed:

Though it does seem we'll see Joker enjoying a tasty appetiser when he crashes the party.

I love this so much, it has so much of Joker's dark humor, and shows he has no remorse when it comes down to it.

just saw I'm Not There and Heath was amazing can't wiat to see him pull off the Joker

Agreed. This is the first time in my life Ive wanted to just skip the entire month of June.

So what is an abnormal kill? Picking up some butter and cramming it down someone's throat until they choke?
An abnormal kill would be something creative. Like killing your victim by injecting him with a venom that will leave him with a rictus grin. Basically not something your average psycho would do.

Rictus grin aside, plenty of run-of-the-mill serial killers have killed their victims with poisonous injections.

Though I love Joker's comically-themed weapons, I can totally understand them not being used in "The Dark Knight". Especially the laughing gas. It's his best weapon, but was used pretty prominently in "Batman". And you've already got people chalking up the parallels.

There's plenty of ways you can pull off death by gun, knife or explosion with flair and panache, in true Joker style. I'd say the heist from the prologue is anything but a "normal" approach to crime.

Where is that picture above with the Joker from?

Especially how he tries to off the other guy by saying the manager is out of shots.

MY tribute to the new Joker using trailer clips, photos, stills, and posters, set to the song "Clown" by KoRn. It contains the leaked photos so if you don't wanna see them, don't watch it.

I've always imagined the Joker inflicting carnage to the tune of a yiddish wedding song.

Pretty cool dude.

i know there was the perma white discussion, but has anyone discussed their feelings on the scene where he doesnt wear any?

What I'm hoping for is that a lot of Joker's kills have some sort of punchline to them or a double meaning.

He most likely won't have the gags like Nicholson did(hand buzzer, acid spraying flower) but I hope they get the punchline aspect from the comics right.

I don't mean Joker saying a one liner either, but a twisted joke/message in how or why he kills his victems.

what i wood like to know if he takes the make up off wood we see him put it back on that wood be good to see

I don't like it. At all. It really ruins the illusion for me. It would be like all the criminals in Gotham suddenly seeing Batman unmasked.

Exactly. The murders should have punchline, rather than just being weird. Something only the Joker would do.

Like the Prologue. Yes, it was strangely but brilliantly organized. Not the traditional approach to crime. But was it necessarily uniquely Joker? Not really. I could see, say, the Riddler orchestrating something of that magnitude.

Is English your first language?

I know this has nothing to do with Ledger's Joker at all but thought this

photo was kinda neat.
