The Dark Knight The Man Who Laughs: The Joker Thread 2.0

I loved the conversation Joker and Batman had at the end. But it bummed me out that we won't be seeing him again.

What distinguishes this Joker is that he's as strategic and intelligent as he is psychotic. He gets under your skin and understands human pyschology in such a way that he uses it completely against you. This wasn't shown with Jack's Joker and that's exactly what impresses me about Heath's Joker.

I would've like to know how this scene would've been played out, hopefully on DVD

Yea I agree, this was a much deeper version of the Joker. I commend the writer.

This Joker was the man. I just feel bad that they left room for him to return and Ledger died. But no one will top Ledger's Joker anytime soon.

The only way Joker is gonna come back is if they make an Animated movie between TDK and the next flick. Recasting is out of question.

Even if they recast the Joker, we will never get this Joker again. This Joker was all Heath's. Yes, there will be other Jokers, but this Joker is and always will be Heath's.

I was sad at the end when we see the Joker for the last time, because I knew that it wasn't just for the last time in this film. It was the last time this particular one will ever be on screen.:(

Ah Man I'm so sad Heath Gone , such a Tragic twist of Fate . He really made The Joker such an incredible force of Chaos . That I doubt anyone could top his preformance .

If they had to do the Joker again which they shouldn't, they should do Joker copycats like there is Batman copycats.

Like he sends out a message to the clowns to do his bidding (such as the viral campaign)

I think that idea could be plausible popping up every so often throughout the next film.

I doubt we'll see the Joker again in this franchise & after seeing Heath's performance, I'd be glad if we didn't because no one would be able to match up to his performance or top it. Right now even trying would be murder.

Concerning Joker's origin, due to him being locked up, technically they could do a DNA test on him to see his history, but the question is, would his body be so ****ed up that it wouldn't come back?

If this thread needs to be moved do so but i didnt know where else to ask this! I was watching the wire earlier and i noticed something, the joker reminds me of omar little! in the interrogation scene the joker mentions he doesn't want to go back to ripping of mob bosses anymore. this could allude to what his proffesion was before he began his rain of terror. As anyone who watches the wire knows omar little does exactly the same thing. but its not just there proffesion that seems similer i feel that they both represent anarchy and chaos aswell as striking fear into those who are feared. Also both are obviously very charasmatic and sort make you want to root for them. Anyone agree?

I think they DID do a DNA test on him in the film. No results.

I'm sure this is coming from someone who doesn't understand genetics.

Oh, by the way, did anyone notice that the Joker was carrying more in his pockets than "knifes and lint"? In the scene where all his weapons were being laid out, the final object laid down was a vegetable peeler. How awesome is that?

I wonder what he would have done with it...

He stabbed someone witha pencil, I am sure a peeler would be just as brutal.

^ Simply stabbing? How boring. Be a little imaginative.

actually a man's head was forced down on the pencil and joker claimed it was a magic trick by making he pencil disappear. imaginative enough for you?

No, that was awesome, but a potato peeler has far better uses. Like peeling someone's skin off their face. Although I'm not sure it could do that.

If the joker ever met the penguin, I could see him threatening to shave off his honker. But we all know that wont happen.

I Would be excited if they recast it's just I can't think of anyone that could do it well enough....than again when i heard heath would be the joker I thought He would never be able to do it

I LOVE THE APPLE PEELER.

Seriously, I want a screenshot of all those knives in a row. Collect 'em all, kiddies!
