Great pictures there, even though I've seen the movie I still enjoying seeing this new stuff. The top picture looks like he's taking direction from Nolan rather than being part of the scene.

yay, more cool pics :woot: thanks for posting them

I think I read somewhere that the scene of Joker outside while the hospital is blowing up was mostly improvised by Ledger. Has anyone else heard this and know where the source came from? Thanks

I heard that too.....apparently the whole "bomb not going off and him pressing over and over and then jumping when it did" was totally unrehearsed and just a problem that the bomb didn't work.

Are you sure? I've watched that scene several times and it looks like Ledger was doing the "wtf happened?" routine seconds before the "bomb malfunction".

Maybe the improvisation was in how Joker would react to the explosions, or lack of.

Thats what I heard too. One of my friends was wondering about it, and wants to know a specific interview or article where it is stated.

wallly phister said it.. and it was on video i believe... one of the imax videos when there talking about the imax cameras... comcast video perhaps?...

That has got to be one of my absolute favourtie Joker pictures. It's so comic accurate and it's so well put together. Everything about it is brilliant. I remember when some people would have been happy to see The Joker dress all in black. Thank God that didn't happen.

haha his eyes look crazy in this picture! its like one is looking one way and one the other way! i read a interview with chris nolan ages ago that said the jokers main characteristic was in his eyes, i noticed in the film his eyes are all over the place all the time, proppa zany!!

just looking at that pic... i keep thinking how good he was in the film... he did such a great job... and that costume is sweet...

I'm not sure if anyone answered this question but did they digitally alter Ledger's voice in certain scenes?
I'm mostly refering to the part with the fake Batman where he suddenly screams "LOOK AT ME!"

i don't know if "look as me!" was modified... but i liked it... truly scary. would have liked to see a little more of that in the movie...

it would be a trip to see Heath interviewed in make-up on the dvd... in character.. perhaps looking into the camera at the and of the interview and simply asking... "wanna know how i got these scares?"....

probably not, i mean he's just a good actor, he usually had his australian accent and in TDK he sounded like a true thug from chicago

I guess you're right but his voice at times did not sound human. It was almost as if he was possessed by a demon. I'm just baffled as to how he could have naturally produced that sound.

i read an article that said he worked with a dialect coach for quite some time before filming, and that he went all around chicago looking for the type of voice he wanted...it was in the sun times here a few weeks ago, among an article about just kind of where he hung out and stuff...he wanted a really flat midwestern accent....i think his interpretation of such an accent is awesome.

also i swear that picture of heath in joker make up like...taking direction makes me so sad. i don't know what it is. he just looks like...nice? i don't know.

yea that mad me feel uneasy aswell, its like you can actually see heath there and not the joker. its hard to explain but every time i watch the film it sorta makes me uneasy that evil twisted face is what a lot of people will remember him by.

His final laugh in the finale also goes kind of demonic. It's actually very surreal with the shot flipped. Easily my favorite shot in the movie (tied with the Joker hanging his head out of the police car. That scene is fantastic in IMAX).

He looks peaceful to me. Like he's quietly contented.

All of these new pictures have been keeping me quite content latley.

yea they are awesome, i didn't think we'd still be getting all these now its out. these new ones are better than the one in the build up IMO
