The Dark Knight The Man Who Laughs: The Joker Thread 2.0

This pic makes him look more like Hamill's Joker than any picture we've seen of him so far. The "why so serious" screencap from the trailer showed us that his teeth were yellow, but you don't get as good of a look at them there as you do here. Panda eyes and yellow teeth.. I'm finally going to get to see a live action depiction similar to the Joker I love the most.:hoboj:

Hooray for yellow teethed Joker! :P

*swoons at new Joker picture*

Oh, what a delight! I'm so incredibly pleased with the pic. His pose, the smile, the teeth, THE JACKET UNDERNEATH (yesss!), the cut of the coat, the hair that isn't quite as oily/wet as later in the film, etc etc, just about made by day. No, week.

The smile doesn't even look that evil but actually... genuine? It's a little hard to pinpoint which makes it even better in my eyes. There's a bit of a creepy factor but on the other hand... Just perfect.

I just love this picture. Quite possibly the best Joker pic yet, and that's saying something.

It's just...... every time I get a spike in my excitement levels for The Joker, it's tempered by a sadness that this will be the first and last time we see Heath Ledger's take on the character. :csad:

I would love to see the following....

The Joker get put away....

Two Face begins to get out of control

Talia come into the picture, only later to find out Ra's isnt dead

Ra's once again trys to take down gothom but when he releases the joker, have the joker kill him....

batman is in love with talia but have her as the antihero/love interest of bruce

have harvey get taken down in a battle of all 4... talia would die as well, harvey and joker are taken back to where they belong, the coo coo's farm :hoboj:

END THE TRILOGY LIKE THAT!

too much spiderman 3

Pretty cool Joker pic. As someone pointed out, the smile is more "genuine" than evil or sadistic. To be honest, I'm kinda disappointed with that.

But we'll see if he can pull off the menacing toothy grin as well.

^^I would if I had enough posts!

I think the picture is the next part of the scene in the trailer when he says "Here's my card." He probably shows it to all around the table and lets out this mad smile to show these guys he means business.

and thanks for one more to help me reach that magic number...

As I was watching the trailer, I began to think about the scene where Joker's meeting with the assumed mob bosses and how it could further validate a painted face, rather than a bleached face. I'm no expert on the mob nor their methods of killing, but I'm sure there's some manner of sophistication involved (or at least what they would consider sophistication). It's pure specualtion on my part, but I don't think there'll be any such sophistication or inhibition with this Joker. And as the mob sits there, I imagine that some of them a just a tad nervous about this Joker guy.

Within their minds they're trying to rationalize a working partnership with this guy, telling themselves that at the end of the day and under all that makeup, he's just a normal guy like them. Yet with each slight move Joker makes (the twitches, shifts, and his posture in general), in the back of their mind a little voice is screaming "Hey, this guy's a ****ing psycho, kill em on the spot!". My point is that I think the makeup has a deeper, more psychological effect. The demon isn't in the makeup or the skin color. Its within the man who looks like your average everyday Joe without his makeup. The makeup just gives the illusion that the worst is superficial and can be removed when infact it runs far deeper.
