The Dark Knight The Man Who Laughs: The Joker Thread 2.0

That would make sense I suppose...concerning that reasoning yeah...
but it still wouldn't really fit with the ultimate idea, like it still isn't too logical that he didn't have makeup on and suddenly he did.
But i'm thinking too deep into it, not many people will notice or care that much anyway regarding that minor detail lol
It's just one of those filmmaking tricks. Not intended to be part of the plot or anything. The logic was proably just, if no one in the audience is even going to notice (save fans who are going to analyze each frame of film), why bother putting Ledger in uncomfortable, drippy makeup?

I would have done it.
If I were heath, I would have wanted to wear the Joker make-up underneath the mask that way I would have felt 100% like the sneaky little ***** that Joker is.....
But who am I to talk -- I'm sure filming went on for soo long that I would have been sweating all the make-up off.......

Not to mention it's only noticeable in the pics. I even tried looking for that inconsistency when I went to see the prologue, but it's completely shadowed out.

Yeah, I didn't notice it watching the prologue, only analyzing the pics. So it's not such a big deal, but thought i'd point it out anyway.

Ugh,Joker's Mouth Scars Looks sick right here

Absolutely beautiful...

Crispin Glover as the Joker. That could've been cool, either way. Someone actually - ah, here they are.

You know, as much as I like where Nolan's taken the character, I would've loved to have seen this on screen - not even necessarily with Glover, hell.

A SHH member sent me an audio clip of what joker sounds like when he says, "Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Were tonights entertainment." in the new TDK TV spot. And sorry to say but he says that line way different from the new trailer. In the TV spot he says it with no enthusism and he sounds way serious. Oh and he doesnt seperate the gentle and man :cwink:

Blech...Glover as Joker. Glover would be okay, I guess, but I don't think he has the depth to do the Joker. He's good at playing quiet eccentrics, and that's about it.

And in those pictures, it's Bettany (did you get his name mixed up with Glover or something?). And, actually, I can see Bettany as Nolan's Joker. One of the few I can picture in the role Nolan and Ledger have created.

Anyway, looking at those pics, if there were to be a "realistic" permawhite, that would be how it should look. Not clown-makeup white, but more of a cadavrous extreme pallor.

Whos bettany? Never heard of him. Crispen Glover will always be George McFly to me.

Not sure how to send it but PM Mr Zazsz. He'll send it to you
One of you upload it to sendspace.com so we can all dl this supposed clip.

One of the top fan choices for Joker, before Heath was cast. If you've seen Ledger's "A Knight's Tale", Bettany plays his best friend.

But the pics above are from Gangster No. 1. The film that absolutely convinced me Bettany would've been a f'n bad-ass and ruthless Joker.

Hmm, interesting. Do you know when the TV spot is going to come on TV?

I agree with Crook, we need to be able to Download the clip.

Conebone should PM it to someone who knows how to put it on sendspace or something.

Apparently conebone's a moron. How hard is it to go on the url and upload? I'm having doubts he even has an audio clip.

Ok ok, sorry guys. I was in bed cuz im sick. I'll upload the clip in a sec.... but no need for name calling
