The Dark Knight The Man Who Laughs: The Joker Thread 2.0

Although I agree that Joker wouldn't be the type to listen to 'hardcore' music I have to disagree with the rest.

I happen to know that the Joker's favorite music is Muzak. Which is what makes him so twisted.

True.

Back to Mr J!

Does he have split personalities or something? Because he keeps changing the way he talks.

Well, my best friend told me that the lip licking and twitchiness were symptoms of anti-psychotic medication. Maybe the implication is that he was drugged up at some point and probably in some kind of mental institution. But yes, his voice is very strange. Sometimes he sounds like a circus ringmaster, others he sounds deep and menacing and then he sounds like a typical nerd! It's incredible. And when the film hits the silver screen we may notice more...eccentric behaviour.

I could imagine him prancing around setting up explosives in a building while listening to this song.

Good call, I could see that happening.

That sentence reminded me of the Boondock Saints when Willem Dafoe is investigating the crime scene and he listens to classical music.

This is the only video I could find of it, it starts at about 2:10. *VIDEO CONTAINS SOME EXPLICIT LANGUAGE*

Wow, that would be something. Do you really think Nolan would include something like that for Joker? I mean, he'd have to be caught and locked up first to get the meds, seems like this is before anyone gets hold of him.

i like how his voice changes, its creepy

ledger's joker is badass

Well it's definitely different. I think his low and menacing voice is the creepy one, the goofy and nerdy voices are not creepy to me.

c'mon .... no one else thinks joker would listen to mike patton ? i could totally imagine joker causing mayhem while listening to some mr . bungle or fantomas .

I think that the Joker lives his life with the Bungles first album as his soundtrack.

Um... I'm sure he listens to early Beatles albums all the time. :whatever: Seriously, what is with the weird discussion topic? LOL =) :yay:

The way I understand is that Nolan let Ledger run wild with this role. The Joker diary, locking himself in a hotel for God knows how long and keeping everybody out late so he coud get a scene spot on (And then thanking everybody for their time). He had a lot of freedom. Maybe he researched it and added it to give The Joker his twitchy, slimy charm?
I believe that my friend heard this on another forum (Batman-on-Fim). Maybe it's true?

Please no. That figure is such a let down, the detail and accessories are perfect, the face looks like ass. :down

I don't think any figurine could capture Ledger to complete satisfaction. But it still looks pretty sweet to me.

dat toy look creepy as hell. Better hope charles lee ray dont possess the figure.

Wow... that toy looks better than the real thing. Look at how they made him permawhite haha!
