The Dark Knight The Man Who Laughs: The Joker Thread 2.0

I don't even collect figures, but I'd like that on display.
same here, that thing looks amazing. Not a perfect likeness of heath, but i think it still looks Jokerish enough, and the quality and detail is amazing. these aren't limited edition are they?

he kinds of looks and is wearing the same kind of thing the mask has! :p But I know the mask has been created after! But it's true that it doe's look like his clothes

The Mask was only released the year before, who knows there might have been some influence :cwink:

The artist is Brian Stelfreeze. He's generally pretty top notch, fond memories of his Marvel Masterpieces cards.

Here's the other cover for that story.

Amazing. Really - new fave artist I have now! Excellent =)

yeah He does, Heath said in an interview that his joker was a schizophrenia. So it's pretty much sur he's gonna have a lot of personnalities...There's so much in this movie that us fan just don't know about. I think we'll be surprised about how many things we don't see come from this film....But i tought the same thing about Spiderman 3......:csad:

it's an amazing idea. for a "real" Joker play it like a "real" psycho... the way he talks is very disturbing that way. Though I don't think he talks like that due to having multiple personalities (that's not schizophrenia anyway). This is one of the symptoms of schizophrenia:

"Affective flattening - a blank, blunted facial expression or less lively facial movements, flat voice (lack of normal intonations and variance) or physical movements."

I wonder if the Joker will have hallucinations, too?

so i wonder will they have the joker on the MTV movei awards? maybe some scenes from the movie edited with the host to make it looks funny.

i think the joker just fits in the spoof videos from MTV perfectly.

Heath's Joker definitely doesn't have a flat voice, it goes up and down and all over the place.

Im not so sure it would be the most respectful thing to do, MTV tends to piss people off enough already as it is.

Woah, the cut-smile looks really freaky and disgusting there. I see this is taken from the last shot of the first trailer. Very nice.
Similar pose, but it's a different shot.

Anyone else feel like that the cut smile looks completely different from what we've seen before? It looks a lot more clean and stitched.

Reminds me of the cut-smile from Pans Labyrinth but even more gruesome.

Urgh, that banner removed all the colour from his make-up.
His lips are red and his hair is green. Not grey-bluey.

The films tint this time is blue instead of brown/yellow. All the posters from the first movie stayed with the same color pallette(marketing wise its builds recognition and brand awareness)

He almost seems morose in this banner right?

Like almost sad in his eyes...

I love it!!

Yeah, it does look cleaner.

Yeah, I noticed that. Actually, that's really how I wish the cut had actually been, on both sides. It looks more like a smile than some bubbly welts.

check out the shots of him cracking his neck from one of the tv spots. the scar looks a lot more like the one in the photo. i think weve just been getting certain angles that dont reveal quite so well how really messed up his scarring is, the "i'll show you", the banned cop pics, shaking his hands, cracking his neck, and now this, sorta show how badly scarred he actually will be. and anyone remember from the prologue? it looked really horrific.
