My fiance always walks in as I'm trying to watch it...alone to get everything I've missed the other times (and trust me, there's lots of stuff that I've missed!) He's like "Oh, you're watching this again?" and sits down and watches it with me.

He's not a G1 fan, but he really enjoys this movie.


















I personally think he likes Megan Fox and that's why he watches it. You should have seen his reaction when I told him that she is from a city not too far from where we live.

Got him to see it three times in theaters with me....the first time in IMAX but not in IMAX format....the second at our old theater (which now we have a new, 12 screen digital cinema open ) and the third time I convinced him to see it on IMAX in the IMAX format.

God was it worth it.

While Devastator/Brawl was my favourite Decpticon, I've got to disagree with you. Megatron took Jazz, Optimus Prime (He's a much better fighter then Ironhide and Ratchet put together) the military, jets and the ALLSPARK to take him down!

Um...I may be new here, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen the movie and it is my understanding Megatron gets killed by the All Spark in the final battle. This means that there won't be an OP/Megatron rematch in the upcoming sequel. Sorry all.

Perhaps its just me, but I like Starscream and Blackout a lot (his pulse attack is the anti-everything...thing...), along with Optimus (after his sword move). I did have a few questions about the end though. First off, I didn't see Barricade die - how did that happen? Second, I thought Starscream died in an F-22 attack (like, right after he destroys a few F-22s the rest blow him up between buildings), but i hear he's alive...i didn't watch after the credits (i heard after the fact there was something there), so if it has something to do with that don't reveal please - i plan to watch it later.

Third, WHY DIDN'T OPTIMUS FREAKING USE HIS SWORD WHEN HE WAS IN MEGATRON'S FACE!?!?!? Quick, easy victory, IMO.

though that would have complete shot the plot to heck....

You say your new here but are you also new to Transformers????????
Being dead has never been a problem for Megatron [or many other Transformers] Megatron has died and come back before so if it happens again it wont be any big suprise.

Besides he was Killed [???] with a life givving cube.Its possible that all the cube really did was over load his systems and knocked him off line.

So he could be back in TF 2

Barricade was suppose to die.....he died in the script,the novel and the comic but his character did not get killed in the film.It is my understanding that the scene was partially shot but the CGI was never added to the scene.We may see it in some special DVD in the future.

Well, OP took out Bonecrusher (and Barricade off-camera), so he's a very capable fighter. However, Megatron has to be the biggest and baddest, otherwise Decepticons will be too weak and weak villains just won't do in a movie like this (imagine if Vader was weak in SW). Besides, the Decepticons were taken out by humans and a crippled Bumblebee; I think Meg had to be kicked up a notch to compensate.
