Explanation of Powers (and brief bio): Agent Wraith is one of the top agents of the government agency known as the Bureau of Meta-Human Affairs (BMA). When the first groups of meta-humans started appearing in the mid-twentieth century, the United States government created an agency for the sole purpose of policing them and protecting the populace from the ones that mean them ill. In order to police the meta-human community, the government's top scientists have designed a program that grants those select few deemed worthy to become BMA field agents super-human abilities of their own. The screening process to determine if one is "worthy" to become an agent is lengthy and grueling. The subject must undergo rigorous testing of their physical and mental attributes, and their morality. The current rate is one out of every hundred people who are selected to try out for the role have the fortitude required to pass the tests. Wraith was one such person.
Special Agent Wraith was orphaned at a young age when his entire family was murdered by a criminal meta-human. Taken in by his uncle who was a former US marine and a state trooper in New York, Wraith was conditioned at an early age in all things military. When he turned eighteen he followed in his uncle's footsteps and joined the USMC. After eight years of service and multiple tours of duty in the Persian Gulf which earned him numerous medals for bravery in combat, including the Congressional Medal of Honor, the man called Wraith retired from the armed forces at the age of twenty-six. Soon after his departure from active duty, Wraith was selected to undergo the screening process to become a special agent of the BMA.
While others faltered and dropped out around him, Wraith excelled. He passed the government's tests with the highest marks the program has ever had. Upon being excepted into the Agency, Wraith, like all other BMA agents, underwent a secret procedure that enhanced his physical abilities (strength, speed, reflexes, durability, etc), and increased his rate of healing to superhuman levels (he can now heal completely from a severely broken arm in only a few days, for example).
Wraith has also been trained in multiple forms of armed and unarmed combat, from kung fu to nimpo, and from gun play to knife fighting. Mainly do to his sterling military career, Wraith is also a highly skilled combat tactician, and, since joining the BMA, has been trained in the art of espionage and other covert operations. Like all field agents, Wraith has the resources of the BMA and the US government at his disposal. Normally, Wraith carries around with him a combat knife made of adamantite, the strongest known metal in the world, a custom pair of chrome .45 handguns, and sunglasses that are fitted with different modes of viewing (from X-ray to infrared). The government has some of the top scientists in the world creating new gadgets and weapons for the Agency, so Wraith, like all BMA agents, has access to some of the most sofisticated tech on the entire planet.
Agent Wraith has been a member of the Agency for two years now, and has become their top operative. He has personally aprehended hundreds of dangerous metas around the world, and has saved millions of lives in the process.

History: Joseph Rozhenko was born January 22, 1986, in the small Russian villaige of Pokrovskoye. Shortly afterwards, Joseph's father was able to get the family out of Russia. At first, they moved to Germany, where they lived for a few years, his parents working at an electronics store. However, his father soon got a job offer from a relative in America, who owned a small chain of electronic stores in Massechuesettes. They soon moved to Boston, where they have lived ever since. From an early age, Joseph experienced strange phenomina. He would hear things that weren't there. See strange figures in the night that would disapear the next instant. Whenever he was angry or upset, objects would shake and fall. He soon found that he could reas people very easily, soon passing intuition and treading the line of the psychic. There are two major moments of weirdness in his life.
One was in his early childhood. When he was about eight, his family lived in a small apartment building. In the building lived a rather large black family of Hatian decent. The mother of the family took a special interest in Joseph, often times watching him for hours on end as he played outside. Eventually, while the family was out, the landlord discovered a small shrine in their apartment, with Joseph's picture in the middle of it. Upon learning this information, the Rozhenko family moved to another building.
The second was in his teenage years. It was at school during lunch. A young girl he had never seen before sat down beside him. He introduced himself, and she said her name was Lacy McNeil. Joseph and Lacy began talking. They spoke of their families, their lives, and pretty much anything there was to talk about. Through the coversation, Joseph noticed that Lacy seemed very sad, and always kept her arms bunched up at her sides. After lunch, Joseph caught up with his friends, and told them of the nice new girl he met. They said that they had not seen anyone sitting with Joseph. When he told them her name, they informed him that the only Lacy McNeil they had ever heard of had been a student twenty years earlyer. On the night of the prom, her boyfriend dumped her. Then, in a state of depression, she went into the girld's bathroom, slit her wrists, and bled to death.
Graduating high school and college, Joseph came back home at the age of 20. Needing money and possesing no real skills to speak of, he began searching for a job. His girlfriend, who he had told of his unique abilities, suggested that he become one of those psychic private detectives she's always hearing about on the Sci Fi channel. After some thought, he agreed. So, going through the proper channels, he became a private detective.

Skills: Joseph is highly inteligent, and an acomplished tactical and analytical thinker. However, he posseses no real skills that would be helpful in the job market. Recently, though, he has found that his relatively impressive cognative abilities are very good for detective work. He is also fluent in German and Russian, and can speak French very well.
Power(s): Joseph posses psychic abilities. He seems capable of reading people quite well. While this is comperable to telepathy, he cannot hear people's exaqct thoughts. Instead, he is capable of getting a good idea of who someone is and what they're like simply by being near them. He's also shown to be able to get a good idea of what someone's up to. If you ask him what a randomly pointed out person on the street is doing or is about to do, he can tell you and will be at least somewhat acurate. He says he simply gets a "vibe" about stuff like that.
Joseph has also shown limited precog abilities in the past. There have been instances where he simply gets the feeling that something either very bad or very good is about to happen. The closer he gets to the event or the location of the event, the better idea he gets of what it's going to be. Although, usually, it remains quite vague. This feelings, however, don't tend to happen very often.
Joseph has sometimes said that he can see spirits. These can usually be described as either being ghosts or demons. He tends to call them "spooks." This lends itself to humans aswell, Were he to meet a demonically possesed human or a superhuman of some kind, he could tell that there was something odd about them rather easily.

I think a private detective would count as a hero. And I'd actually rather not have the powers listed in the roster. Ups the text count unnecessairily. As for your character: Sounds interesting, although I doubt a company would try to combine earth, fire, wind, and water, since they're not actually elements by any scientific standpoint.

I changed Joe's place of residence from New Orleans to Boston. Mainly because I know more about Boston than New Orleans.

I think he's mainly asking about adding the physical stats. Although, since your character is superhuman through and through, I doubt those stats would apply.

Personally, if we've already accepted them, there's no need to have them reapply. Just have the stats be apart of the applications for future reference.

For future use. As in, all future apps will have to include them. Besides, JB and LT's characters are physically superhuman. Thus, the stats don't cover them, so it shouldn't matter.

I'm definatly thinking of signing up. I've been wanting to play a telepathic, telekinetic and mind control slacker of sorts. Kind of like how I would be if I had those powers, but more of a badass. I'll probably have an app. up tomorrow.
Also for the stat's, those don't affect mental powers right? My character could use his TK for a lot longer than he can fight hand to hand.

Well, my character is definitely not as powerful as LT's, but he is above peak human in his physical abilities. So, as you say, it shouldn't matter.The Question said:

Well, actually, there's a kind of/sort of reason for my character's powers. Look up his date and place of birth.
