New mutants will have to fit into set up of the movie universe rather then the comic universe.

People are worrying about whose the leader thing again, what if there isn't one? What is the structure of the story doesn't require anyone to lead the team? There Will probably be one character they focus slightly more on but the idea may not be about building up a team but more a group of friends.

exactly right.though Kinberg has said josh boone is going to be very true to comics the film still has to fit the movie universe.

In new mutants Xavier was only teaching them how to control their powers.he never intended them to go into action.that happened because they got into adventre on their own.

I would like to see the movie start off with the 'we're mutants kids at Xavier's school' vibe then it quickly spins into the paranormal realm...

I would like to see the X-men (Cyke, Jean, Storm, Quicksilver) cameo as the active X-team with Storm (Shipp) in her alleged supporting role.

The "New Mutants" are Xavier's latest idea of having a backup squad to which he picks a few of his students with "potential." We're introduced to the junior squad who don't do well in the Danger Room simulation test but we clearly see that what they lack in experience they make up for in friendship.

Like I stated earlier, the movie has a typical X-menish vibe until Dani starts having visions and nightmares of the Demon Bear. What starts off as everyone believing are delusions or her powers overwhelming her mind, they quickly learn are real. Soon Dani and her teammates find themsleves dragged into the supernatural and must depend on each other to survive.

If McAvoy is in the movie and he for some reason can't seem to do these movies without a huge role then I hope they follow the story origin portion of Marvel Graphic Novel #4.

Obviously it'll be an amalgamation because alot of X-MEN & Xavier weren't around at the mansion for DBS

Yeah I think that'd be fine.

It's quite frustrating Claremont wrote a 17 year Bible Story for FoX to follow and they went in such a crazy direction with it.

Since Apocalypse takes place in like '83 I'd say putting it at about 1985 would work. That was like the quintessential 80s time period, and Scott, Jean and Ororo and Kurt will have become pretty established team members at that point. The New Mutants will have heard various stories of their alluded to adventures since Apocalypse.
