I remember Franco's last time. I'm pretty sure that it was during Christmas. I remember some skit about him owning a Christmas tree lot and he had sex with the trees lol.

One thing I like about Franco as host as he strikes me as one of those guys who won't say no to any idea an SNL writer pitches to him.

I don't think that most hosts turn anything down. I listen to Howard Stern a lot and he's interviewed quite a lot of ex SNL people from the past few years. They all seem to say the same thing, the majority of the hosts love all the ideas in the pitch meetings and are down for anything.

One of my favorite stories was JB Smoove's idea for a skit when Tom Brady was the host and he was going to play a quarterback in the 1950's that was the first ever player to slap another player on the ass.

Tom loved the idea but it didn't make it to air.

I don't remember Adams first time as host.

I remember her monologue where she and Kristen Wiig made fun of how much they look alike and did a duet from Wicked, and I remember thinking she was a generally solid host, but that's about it. I think Amy did an amusing Heidi Klum impression somewhere in there too?

Last night's episode was way better than I was expecting. The Black Annie skit and the return of Beck Bennett's man-baby had me on the floor.

I liked it a little more than I thought I would. Some of it was not funny at all to me, but I thought it actually picked up with Weekend Update. I also enjoyed Baby Boss, the part about the monkey ripping Kenan's junk off, and the phone sex girls.

I didn't like Black Annie at all (mostly because I hate Leslie Jones) and hated the digital short with the high school kids fighting. I really dislike that actor in general.

Also, I expected more once I saw they were doing one of those music videos at the beginning. I loved last year about doing it in the twin bed, but this one just fell flat for me.

I agree with you Donnie Darko. Not a huge Leslie Jones fan. Seems like everything she does is at maximum volume.

Black Annie would have been a bit better with Sasheer in the role. BTW, Sasheer is a stunning woman when she wears a long wig.

I had too much wine last night and slept through the entire episode. I saw some clips on hulu earlier today and loved the Bruno Mars performance. Also the homeballers music video was great too.
