He looks a little like Isaiah Washington

I can see him too. I think he'd be good in the role.

It's actually a pretty well written series. What if Superman was older and he and Lois had a teenage son? What would his perspective be? It's interesting once he comes into his own man. There's a huge plot twist that I won't ruin for anyone but right after the reveal the series is basically one loooooong episode of Dragonball Z.

Sounds cool. When you say it's like DBZ, do you mean that they stretch out plot that could easily be condensed like that fight scenes?

Well, he did want anarchy and chaos in an otherwise *****-whipped society.

True, but even in the present at the beginning of the film he gave off that crazy, anarchy, "funny" vibe.

No I mean
You learn that they come from a Saiyan like race named Viltrimites or something who are just warriors who like to fight. Once you beat a Viltrimite to near death and they heal they are 2-3 times stronger than they were before. Plus since Invincible is a halfbread human he has the potential to be even more powerful than his father which makes no sense but since Gohan could be stronger than Goku then it's OK.
It's like every issue the writer just gave up on ideas and said "Hey, let's just watch an episode of DBZ and just do what they did."

Oh, I see. :funny:

If you were forced to live in a society in which you wiped your ass with seashells then you would probably want to destroy it as well ;)

And a meal from Taco Bell consist of some topping on one tortilla chip. If you want good food, you had to go in the sewers and eat a grilled rat.

It's not the Viltrumites that get stronger as they heal. It's Allen who does, and he's the only one left of his kind. And it's not that Mark has more stronger potential than his father. It's that their bloodline is the true heir to the Viltrumite throne. Mark is strong, but I don't recall them mentioning anything about how he's going to be the strongest Viltrumite ever. It's implied a lot that he'll catch up to his father in terms of strength one day, but it's more like a son growing while his old man ages.

Don't forget they can only have virtual sex.

Yes, it's much better the way it is now, when that is just one of several acceptable options.

Why wouldn't they?

I don't, cuz I'm a Bulls fan, but you know, whatevs.

I friggin hate the man and I'm a Celtics fan.

Speaking of DBZ how cool would it have been to have a black super-saijin.

It does bother me that anime has hundreds of white characters but hardly any black characters.

It's like the Japanese believe in white supremacy sometimes.

I wonder what the backlash would be if Idris Elba was cast as the next James Bond considering there was a huge outcry simply because Daniel Craig had blonde hair.

Hell, I didn't know he was black until I watched Young Justice. My mind was blown.

I wasn't sure if you were joking about this, but I see you are serious. So this again goes back to my question of what awesome black super heroes/villains are there? Sure there are minority heroes and villains with fans, but none are well known. Heck...even the most well known black characters (I thought EVERYONE knew Black Manta was black :o) are not widely known. So really...what's wrong with changing the race of a more well known character to reflect today's diversity?

It's a pipe dream to think you can take a hero like Michael Holt or Luke Cage and turn them into someone with the same recognition and box office appeal as Batman or Spiderman. Aside from Marvel Studios, who is obviously in a unique situation, no other studio would likely take that risk. I mean...how many female led superhero movies do we have? :cwink: And there are a lot more well known female super heroes than black super heroes. One of the most famous ones can't even get her own movie. She's been reduced to a cameo.... :o

I believe the whole of England would shed their stiff upper lip and riot like a bunch of fools.

You misspelled Daniel Craig. :o

I'm gonna **** Sean Connery on your death bed, Moose.
