Most racially ambiguous or mixed actors use their heritage to play a variety of roles so its not all bad.

I remember when they shoehorned Agent Myers into Hellboy as a audience surrogate character which fans didn't like so in the sequel they said he got posted to the North Pole

There are white people in Wakanda though....well, just the one. Hunter, but nobodies used him in years.

He showed up in the annual of BP's Man Without Fear/Most Dangerous Man Alive run in Hell's Kitchen. It was too short for a cool villain like that, but it's the only bone Hunter fans have gotten since 2003. A BP movie with him and Ross as two white characters to keep it from being "too black" would be fine. You've got the fanboy that keeps getting proven wrong, and then you've got the sneaky step sibling that could be the glue to many plot points throughout the film and potential future films.

If Marvel ever did that they'd have bigger grapefruits than DC and Image combined. Of course with DC's current sucktastic nature that's not really hard, but Image is only a tv show or two besides The Walking Dead away from really making it a three way race.

He's the one white guy all Wakandans claim to be friends with to enhance their street cred.

Oh naw, they wouldn't dare shoehorn a white dude in a Black Panther movie.
You may say that, but I'm calling that ish right now. Like 99% of a Black Panther movie could take place in Wakanda, but they'd still find a way to shoehorn in a white person-- probably as the audience surrogate.

Don't be surprised, they'll probably find a way to make T’Challa's adopted brother [Hunter] White Wolf the lead. Even though he's more a villain.

Although to be fair I wouldn't mind seeing him as the main villain.

On the flip side it is funny how many people I noticed fan cast White Wolf as black.
Do they even read the stories?

Edit: Most of those links went to **************, which I guess can't be linked to here? But do an image search for fancast White Wolf (Hunter).

Or here's a few snapshots.

lol @ That first link. It casts Hunter as a black guy, uses a pic of Kasper Cole in a completely different role than the White Wolf, and then casts a darker guy to be Kasper. Kasper is supposed to be a really light skinned guy based on his name.

Do Asian people, specifically Taiwanese people, even claim Tiger Woods? I feel like he's 100% n****, especially after his scandal. He was the most dominant athlete in his sport. He was married to a white woman (i.e. black man's kryptonite), cheated with said wife with a whole bunch of other white women, etc.

:o
I think some of the people who were upset the most about what he did was black women, not because of the fact that he cheated but because of the fact that not one of the other women were black.

Please, they made Iceman a teenager (played by a man in his 20's) instead of only 2 years younger than Jean like he is in the comics. They could've made Storm 40-something instead of 30-something.

Could've and should've...two very different things.

For Angela Bassett? Should've.

Didn't Bassett turn down the role?

Has anyone else noticed that ever since Steve Harvey started hosting Family Feud every episode has pretty much been black family vs. white family?

^ We're all judging you for either:

A. Not having a job and thus spending your afternoons picking apart FAMILY FEUD.

Or

B. Actually being gainfully employed and CHOOSING to watch FAMILY FEUD and pick apart it's racial makeup.

My grandmother has it on every time I go visit her and I can confirm this, it is always black vs white.

Points for visiting grandma. Points deducted for actually paying attention to FAMILY FEUD.

So, I read another comic on comiXology called "Quantum and Woody." It was pretty fun. If the rest of the series is like the first issue, I wouldn't mind seeing those guys on film. Seems like another buddy cop thing, but with superheroes.

Which Quantum and Woody did you read? The original late 90's one, or the new rebooted version that came out last year?

I guess it's the rebooted one since it says, "Quantum and Woody (2013-)."

I see. The reboot is pretty good, but the original is something special. If they have another one of those sales I think you should pick up the first few issues. The reboot captures some of that magic, but old school Q&W is just straight up hilarious. If you like that you may like Archer and Armstrong. All of Valiant right now is kicking ass and taking names.

I think I just happened upon it weeks ago and decided to read it today. It was free and the description seemed interesting. I was laughing throughout reading it.

Do they both end up with the same powers?

Looks like the reboot from the pic.

Been meaning to read that.

Would make a great movie.

Their powers are a bit different but similar. The big thing is about how they hate each other, but they can't get rid of each other because of what happened with the accident.

Cool. The accident and how Woody was just fine with letting Eric die. :funny:

What's with the goat? :hehe:
