Everytime I see that EW cover it gives me goosebumps I remember seeing in the store and begging my mom to get it, I was so excited.

Yeah that silhouette image of Batman on that EW is pretty cool. I still wish I own that magazine.

What was your favorite Kenner Batman Returns Batman figure? I can't remember the name of it, but the one I liked the most as a kid came in the classic blue/gray color scheme, and came with a grapple gun with a gold Bat as a hook.

I love how Keaton's Batman is always one step ahead of the villains. Rarely do the villains get the drop on him.

Interesting. I always thought Joker was saying "Oh, there'll be a hot'un (hot one) in the old town tonight!"

That is what he says Pony, he doesn't say the same line as Catwoman.

Has anyone read Peter David's novelization of Batman Forever?

It's quite fascinating; it bridges the gap between Returns and Forever. Among other things, Batman meets pre-accident Harvey Dent on a roof to thank him for clearing the charges of the Ice Princess murder.

Don't just read it for that though; the Forever novel is superb. It takes the film and improves absolutely everything. If the film was exactly like the book, it would be the best Batman film ever.

That's interesting. You don't get much of their prior relationship. Only a sense they are probably allies, from Batman (1989) when Dent reads out the letter from Batman, and when Batman tried to save him from the acid.

That's interesting, I hated how Dent didn't exist in Returns. I hope there is a copy of it in the UK. I had the graphic novel of four films.

There are plenty, check Amazon and eBay. It should be pretty cheap.

I also had the book with the four movie adaptions in. The artwork for the Batman adaption was superb, I've never seen a movie adaption with anyway near as good likenesses of the actors. Also I love how the colouring, in a very subtle way, made Batman's costume grey and blue rather than the black of the film.

Totally agreed, I love the artwork in that four adapations just a great work. there. I believe author was Danny O'Neil for all four adaption. Legendary writer of course.
