^ The episodes that won the show an Emmy.

Kane these are absolutely phenomenal. I hope you continue to do them

I will say the best thing about Mystery of the Batwoman was the music.

It's been a while since I've seen B:MOTB. I should refresh my memory on it. I remember being decent if nothing else.

The Batwoman [BLACKOUT](or Batwomen) [/BLACKOUT] theme on saxophone injected a jazzy tone to the score. Looking forward to the soundtrack. Hopefully Subzero's score is around the corner.

From a post made by La La Land Records over on FSM:

BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES Vol 4 (includes last of the first 65 episodes plus ARKHAM ARCHIVES -- remaining missing odds and ends from other volumes)
This means they will have released all the music from the original 65 episodes of B:TAS. Pretty amazing. If you haven't, you should snap the first three volumes up...

Volume One
Volume Two
Volume Three

I want a remastered in HD Blu-Ray/Home video release of this badboy.

I want a remastered in HD Blu-Ray/Home video release of this badboy.

1.) It would cost WB quite a bit of money to clean up the series for Blu-ray release.

2.) Bruce Timm is supposedly reluctant to do that as it could take away some of the old-world feel the cel-dirt gives it.

3.) If WB simply upgraded without the clean-up process, it could look quite messy at times.

WB are happy to release the HD/digital shows (2000-onwards) to the niche market through Warner Archive, but animated TV shows aren't HUGE sellers on Blu-Ray, so I doubt WB would go to the effort. We'll see.

Remastered Cowboy Bebop looks terrific. I don't see why BTAS won't either.

:awesome:

Very excited for Vol. 4. I'm glad they're adding the cues they either edited out or didn't include from Vol. 1.

Come solve the mystery of the Batwoman in La-La Land!

La-La Land Records, Warner Bros. Acclaimed composer Lolita Ritmanis (BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, SUPERMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, BATMAN: BRAVE AND THE BOLD) returned to the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES universe to craft a thrilling and atmospheric score with jazzy, noirish highlights – perfect for this feature-length tale in which Batman and all of Gotham are forced to reckon with a new costumed vigilante on the scene, Batwoman! Produced by John Takis and mastered by James Nelson, this special release of 2000 units also features bonus tracks and the score to the animated short “Chase Me.” In-depth, exclusive liner notes by John Takis and Bat-riffic art design by Dan Goldwasser round out this exciting release!

I've never understood the hate for Mystery of the Batwoman, I like it.

I like the part where the thug opens the door and sees Batman standing in the room. Batman just looks at him, and the thug backs out and shuts the door. His partner asks him what it was, and the thug answers "nothing" or something like that:hehe: funny.

Same. I quite enjoy it. I love the song 'Betcha never'.

It was fine..though ultimately it did feel like an extended episode...
I like that it hints at the overall series continuity, the Barbara phone exchange in particular

I listened to the Fatman on Batman podcast the other day with Paul Dini....any fans of the show should definitely check it out..theres tons of behind the scenes stuff
