I was surprised to learn Lindsay Crouse voiced Sherman's mother. I only literally learned that a couple of weeks ago when I watched this episode again. I love her. Great actress.

I'm just now discovering the reason why The New Batman Adventures only had 24 episodes instead of the usual 26. And why Superman: The Animated Series ended on the unusual number of 54.

Kenner was pushing for Supergirl in the toyline and wanted her to have a big presence in S:TAS. Bruce Timm stated in an old issue of Wizard:

"We actually had to steal two episodes from Batman. They had a Supergirl toy coming from Kenner, so they allowed us to do those episodes.

That crafty WB. Man, I think I would have preferred two Batman episodes instead.

I don't know why Sorkin isn't voicing her any more. She never officially retired from her like Hamill did with Joker.

I think she did... she just never really made it public. This is as close as she came to ''passing the torch'':

In fact, she hasn't done any acting since DC Universe Online back in 2011. It's certainly weird. Perhaps the voice was simply getting too much for her or she just didn't enjoy doing videogames.

Maybe it was thematerial itself? When she voiced Harley, the universe she was part of wasn't that dark. It was plenty dark, but compare B: TAS and Arkham Asylum together and you could make the argument that she didn't like how everything was.
Maybe, I'm just spit-ballin' here.

Mmmm I don't see it that way. It just looks like her giving her opinion on her replacement for AC.

She said she loved doing Arkham Asylum, so I doubt it's because she doesn't like doing video games.
