That's terrific. I always thought the ninja Kyodai was a great villain for Bruce.

I rewatched B:MOTB yesterday. I thought it held up pretty well. The story still wasn't nearly as compelling as MOTP or BB:ROTJ. However it still was a pretty good animated dtv Batman movie, imo. It also had me craving for more original animated Batman movies.

Oh and I still dig that animated Batman short "Chase Me" that was included on the bonus features. I'm glad the music from that short was included on the LLLR soundtrack album.

What I really liked about MOTB is it finally gave The Penguin his moment in the sun as a main baddie in one of the animated movies. I just wish they had gotten Paul Williams back to voice him. Though I liked David Ogden Stiers performance. But this is BTAS world and Paul defined Penguin here, so I missed him.

^ I always thought that episode should have been a two parter. Hugo Strange felt kind of wasted. Especially when Penguin, Joker, and Two Face come along and totally steal the limelight from Hugo.

Yeah I missed Williams too. I guess scheduling conflicts was why he couldn't return. Stiers was a serviceable replacement. His portrayal seemed to fit the way Penguin seemed throughout the movie, which was grumpy.

It was also a shame the original voice actor for Robin/Tim from TNBA couldn't return either. Though his replacement for MOTB did far from a bad job, imo.

I thought Robin sounded a bit different in it. I had no idea it wasn't Mathew Valencia.

Just watched "I am the Night" Such a good episode... its hard to believe this show was meant for kids...

Yeah, one of the things I give The Batman cartoon credit for is having Hugo Strange as a recurring villain whereas he only made just one appearance in TAS. Unless you read comics at the time, you'd probably end up thinking that Strange was villain that the writers made up for the show and dropped afterwards.

^ I love those episodes. It's like Batman meets Terminator. HARDAC is essentially Skynet with a personality.

Also the whole thing about how BS&P doesn't care about robots getting violently slaughtered. :wowe: Although watching it now, it's a little disappointing that the insane supercomputer is brought down by a hand grenade and some karate moves. :hehe:

mine is probably Christmas with The Joker just because it seems like the one most inspired by THE Fleischer Superman cartoons. I like most of them very much. I watch various episodes of the series at least once a week. Ones I do not care for:

Make Em Laugh
Bane
The Fire From Olympus
and a few others.

I hope this guy sell these as 2x3 and does on giant installation/sell them.

^ They're great. I always liked the 'Joker's Wild' episode. It was a neat idea to see someone using Joker to make a profit.
