Thus far, yes. Unless you want to count Cavill, but there've been Cavill rumors since he first tried out for the part.

True, but going to this route (besides great actors, of course) also brings a level of credibility and attention to this project.

If Viggo really is involved, it has to be Lex. I never wanted him as Zod but liked him for Lex so that would be sweet Zod in general was not necessary imo. I understand they will use him differently/reinvent. It's just that with Brainiac, Lex, Metallo, Darkseid, even Doomsday in some capacity were all worthy villains that could be used. I just don't think Zod was needed if we are moving away from Donnerland completely. With that said, we have to accept it and I have no doubt it will be done in a way less corny than on previous film/tv series.

Viggo as Lex would be crazy, if that happens that means Snyder will be 6 for 6

Ive only ever seen Viggo as Aragon...so I cant imagine him as the bad guy. Is there a movie where he has been a villain or something?

He was awesome as Lucifer in The Prophecy and although it's not exactly a "villain" role, he's ****ing frighting in Eastern Promises.

I agree, Viggo gave an outstanding performance in Eastern Promises.

The movie has also one of the most intense, gruesome fight scenes I have ever seen. The way it was shot and choreographed. It's a very realistic fight sequence.

Christ, alot of good Lex suggestions. Usually I'm stuck on one or two for casting a character, but with Lex, there's more choices, which isn't bad.

i haven't seen it, but i believe he was an antagonist in G.I. Jane. one of his lines in there was "When I want your opinion, I'll give it to you!"

in 'A History of Violence' he wasn't necessarily a bad guy, but his character was a little complex and you could see bad intention in some of his actions later in the film.

he's never been an outright VILLAIN as far as i know though.
