Brighter colors I Like. Superman's costume is supposed to be bright anyways.

can some people do manips that are not just their own designs but designs from cartoons or comics to see what they would look like?

i'd personally love to see these on screen....

And you know this as fact? Or like the rest of us, you are speculating as to what they have actually changed... or not changed? Just curious.

It is obvious that Dark_Lord was on the actual set and examined the costume first hand!

I know that the costume looks the same, besides the cape. I know that WB gave them the costume (I doubt they'd let them alter it). I remember the producers saying it's the exact same costume from Superman Returns. So...No. I didn't say I went on the set.

On one hand, I'd say it's budget reasons, and it's only going to be a few minutes at the absolute most, so would it be worth it? But then I remember all the new costumes they've made for the one time guest appearances of heroes like Booster Gold and Blue Beetle and suddenly making a suit from scratch doesn't seem so far fetched.

Certainly there are budget considerations, (perhaps WB increased the budget for the finale) but it's unlikely BR's costume is going to fit TW so they'd need to make one specifically for him anyway. If that's the case, they might as well add things to differentiate it from the SR costume. If it is too close to the SR costume, they would probably need to give Louise Mingenbech credit and some form of payment. BTW I thought the Booster Gold costume was pretty well done.

"Looks the same" being the operative word there. It's possible that WB's loaned them the SR costume so they could use it earlier in the season, while they made one specifically for TW that looks similar but is in fact different. So you are probably correct on one issue, and that is that the early showing of the costume was probably a SR one on loan. I'd expect to see different boots and belt, along with the revised cape and colours. We'll see for sure in a couple of weeks, and then not long after we'll see Henry's version!

Just wanted to add, that after ten years playing Clark Kent on his journey to become Superman, if I was TW and the producers told me the 'big payoff' for the Audience was me wearing a SR hand me down, I'd tell them F*** You. lol! I think TW deserves more.

Really? He was a model turned actor with no experience that got a gig which provided him 10 years of employment he wouldn't have had otherwise.

The only thing I don't like is it looks like an action figure.

here's a tweaked version of it (different shield, bigger trunks, more subtle seams and 2-tone blue)

Both versions are really good

I really dig the infinity S

WhWHO YOU GONNA GET TO DON ONN THE SPIDEY SUIT? A GUY WITH NO MUSCLES? OR HER? DIDN'T SPIDEY HAVE "SOME" MUSCLES IN THE FILM WHEN HE WAS FULLY SUITED AND MASKED>>>>?????

Listen, No matter how much you push the point here's two facts you're not getting.
!. This is the guy who is credited as Spider-man's stunt double. No women wore the suit. not only did he double Tobey Maguire In Spider-man 1 and 2,
He's also doubling Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-man.
2. The Spidey suits were all padded muscle. The wanted to give the actors the same look and proportion. The Masks all had a hard shell to giv e the face the same look as well. You can find this information in the behind the scenes Spider-man book.
So please just drop it.

This looks really awesome. The S looks good, and the way the trunks and belt are combined works. I wouldn't mind the emblem being slightly raised. Maybe the emblem itself should just look like it's made from a different material than the cloth it's on instead of raising it. That would make it stand out more.

I like the suit but the 'S' on the shield looks soft. I think the 'S' should be as angular as possible. Angles depict intelligence and will, curves depict softness and weakness.

IMO russian deconstructionist theories in architecture should not really apply to a alien coat of arms especially when you think about why superman was created.

i love this shield
