The Official DC Stupid Question Thread....

I'd assume you'd mean speedster as a runner not just someone with combined powers and is it ever or currently active?

You're ****ting me, it's like DC ****ing hates anything and anyone I like.

Oh, MD, your favorite character is the Question? Bang, now he's a lesbian boring chick..

Second favorite is Billy Batson? Poof no more billy, in fact no more marvel family all together.

That's it, I'm writing a strongly worded letter!
They'll probably get their powers back. Shazam himself came back and undid a lot of the crap Winick did with Trials of Shazam, so Billy's available to regain his old powers and position.

Well, that's not 15, is it?

1. Zoom (Hunter Zolomon)
2. Flash (Wally)
3. Flash (Barry)
4. Kid Flash (Bart)
5. Flash (Jay)
6. Wonder Woman
7. Supergirl
8. Superman
9. Cheetah
10. Captain Marvel (Freddy, since everyone else just lost their powers)
11. Liberty Belle (Jesse Chambers)

I'm sure I'm forgetting others. Note: Barry, Wally, and Bart are all probably right about as fast as each other, so the order of those three could go any way.

You do seem to be only counting the "CURRENT" characters.

I for one would still count the rest of the Marvel family.

Even if they just lost their powers it will only be for a very short time.

And besides them I would still count

12]Max Mercury
13]Superboy Prime
14]The Top
15]Kid Zoom

good, cause I am not a fan of freddy in the lead.

There is also Miss Martian, Red Star, and Deathstroke, however fast he is.There is also Comet, and Lobo.

OKay, let's not count kryptonians who don't have an S on their chest, as I'm sure in a few years they'll be shrunk down intoa bottle again and forgotten.

And Inertia has not been counted yet, either. I meant for Superman and Girl to count. I'm just trying to figure out where he'd rank, I'll go to the Marvel thread and find out his current top speed.

What about Zum the White Martian?

What about Savitar, Max Mercury, Johnny Quick, the Rival, John Fox, Walter West, etc.?

Ah, Walter West. . . now THERE was a speedster.

Totally.

Anyway, I was just listing current, living characters. What's the point of ranking characters with one appearance like Zum or long-dead characters like Savitar or Max Mercury? At that point, you might as well start throwing in the Green Lantern Corps, since all of the rings are capable of faster-than-light travel, or the Legion of Super-Heroes, and then you're basically done with your list right there, given the number of super-speed people they've got on their team.

Savitar's back in Flash Rebirth, though, right? Surprised no one's mentioned Professor Zoom (Hunter was rightfully mentioned at the top of Corp's list, but not Eobard ). I mean, despite being dead, he still manages to pop up once in a while and make himself relevant.

Okay this is what i found out about Pietro

I believe he's back to the way he was pre deciMation

So, fast as he is, he still wouldn't rank anywhere near DC's fastest heroes and villains.

Guess my answer is No.

I don't get why they continually refuse to upgrade Quicksilver to light speed. Northstar's been at that level for years now and he's barely even a third-tier character. If I had to guess, I'd even rank Quicksilver's nephew Speed higher than him at this point.

Savitar was back for about 2 pages in Flash: Rebirth.
Ah. I heard he came back in Rebirth, but I haven't picked up the issue yet, so I didn't know his appearance was so brief. Now I'm disappointed a little.

Yeah, it's not much of a "return" at all. Barry's dialogue kind of annoyed me in that scene, too.

What was the name and issue number of a comic I saw years ago where Superman was talking to some priest about stuff, and having flashbacks, and Superman had a flashback about him trying to stop a civil war in a 3rd world country by taking everyone's guns, but then they started killing each other with rocks? The cover was Superman with angel wings instead of a cape, wich made him look like a parrot because the wings were red.

I don't know the exact issue number, but you're thinking of something from the "For Tomorrow" arc in Superman by Brian Azzarello and Jim Lee.

I thought that at first too, but I think he's actually talking about something else. I remember that cover too, and it wasn't Jim Lee.

Here we go, it's Superman #659.

That was actually a really good issue, IMO.

Yeah? Try being a Ted Kord / Aquaman fan on top of that. DC, they hate us.

I'm a fan of Batgirl, Conner Kent, Connor Hawke, Aquaman, Captain Atom, and the Question. :o
