Capcom is never going to sell the DMC IP. Not unless they go backrupt and are in as bad a financial mess as THQ, which they are not. Even if they never make another DMC game, you can expect to see them at least utilize the characters in other games such as MvC, or even a new IP.Selling, of course. Like Ubisoft got some of THQ's. I don't care how.
I just don't want to see this stop in the first game.

When Capcom is done with a franchise, they just let it die. They have a TON of unused IPs. If they wanted to, they could have sold off many. (Mega Man being a notable recent example). Heck Onimusha was kind of in a similar position as DMC was last gen. Point is, they haven't and the ONLY reason why this would even be an option is if they were bleeding for money, which they are not. They aren't on the brink of bankruptcy so it would be foolish to start selling off one of their most popular franchises. That's never been how this company operatesI don't see it being as far fetched as you guys do. They spent so much to make RE6 and were hoping to get CoD numbers, which they obviously didn't. They're even affraid of outsourcing, now. They can make deals to keep these characters for fighting games while selling the biggest part of the copyright to someone else.
I doubt capcom would sell it if someone came to ask to buy it off them. if anything they'd want to keep it to them selves even more .Who has ever shown interest in getting Megaman to make more games? Not saying that there wasn't, but I don't recall news of any company wanting to take that.
I simply said that I hope someone does it. That someone sits with Capcom and discusses the possibility.
I'm not expecting Capcom to put it on auction.

Last time I saw, it sold more than 1.2 million units. Until I see that its budget was anything over 60 million, I'd hardly call that a financial bust. Just for Capcom and its absurd expectations.
Oh, you still seem so resentful whenever something about this game is brought up. Along with KingMadness. Still can't shake the hate off?I get it, you liked DmC a lot. But be realistic, it's over.
and who is showing interest in DMC? Who is going to buy it? Ninja Theory? They cant afford itWho has ever shown interest in getting Megaman to make more games? Not saying that there wasn't, but I don't recall news of any company wanting to take that.

And whoever said that someone IS showing interest in DmC? Do I need to tell you what I mean by I hope?
it was a response to you posing the same exact question in regards to me mentioning Mega ManAnd whoever said that someone IS showing interest in DmC? Do I need to tell you what I mean by I hope?
Megaman was brought up as an unused IP, which is what DmC is going to become. Since I was talking about someone getting DmC, I questioned if someone ever showed interest in purchasing Megaman, which has been forgotten for quite some time. Like I said in that post, I'm not fully sure if someone did it.Then what was your Mega Man comment even about?
well that question is really hard to answer cause mega man isn't up for sale. and cause of that what you speak of can't be answered in any way.Megaman was brought up as an unused IP, which is what DmC is going to become. If I'm saying that I hope someone does it, that someone gets DmC, then it's pretty obvious that no one showed interest. Then it is redundant to ask.
That includes the DLC or not? Cause I already envy XBox gamers for that sizehere's something new on this finally
If you can spare the gigglebits on your Xbox 360, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and DMC: Devil May Cry are both available through Games on Demand on Xbox Live for $50 right now. Each will consume 7.34 GB and 6.57 GB, respectively.
