Here here. I love the Earth One version of Alfred so I'm probably going to end up loving this version....even more than what's already been shown.

Alfred wasnt my issue, it was the little terrible actor next to him pretending like he is about to go put on the cowl and cape 7 days after his parents death.

Yeah. The way I see it, this is the first new Batman iteration since 2005 so there's gonna be alot of restlessness and complaints based on that fact that its something new with new interpretations. It was gonna happen regardless of what kind of pilot we got. The GA seems to have liked it , and ultimately I think that's who the series is geared more towards.

no but less is more honestly. little nuiances go a long way, we know bruces destiny, we dont need it heavy handed when it should be gordon as the focus. Have Bruce's parents murder be the catalys for the show to get going and then have bruce go into the background quietly to reappear once and a while. At this rate he'll be 16 dressing up as batman.
