Okay, this is just awesome. Ben McKenzie is writing the final episode of Gotham that's going to be filmed. To go from newcomer in Gotham City to both directing and writing episodes, James Gordon has come a long way.

Actually, he's writing the last episode to be filmed, and that the finale is gonna be written by John Stephens. He corrected this on Twitter because apparently they'll be filming the remaining episodes out of order.

Looks great! I'm finishing up the last few episodes of season 4 but I think we'll have to wait a while before we get season 5 in the UK.

Some villain stuff, a bit of Bane, Jeremiah, Selina's eyes turned green at one moment, Penguin, Scarecrow, Barbara got a haircut, Bruce and Jim talking, what looks like the show's version of Harley Quinn- pretty much a sizzle reel of what's to come.

I must say that the cinematography looks great for season 5.

Gotham's cinematography has always been great, but holy crud did they kick up to 11 this season. Some spectacular shots there.

And that last Bruce and Jeremiah scene yessssss!

One thing I'm sure everyone noticed is that Selina now has cat eyes. Season 4 did end with her shot int he spine and hospitalized. So I bet Hugo Strange or another mad scientist type character gets introduced that is responsible for healing her. Whatever he does probably gives her the cat eyes and maybe some cat like abilities. So maybe Selina will end up with cat superpowers like the Halle Barry Catwoman movie. Except it's caused by some mad scientist experiments instead of mystical junk yard cats. Or maybe the hospital throws her out while in a coma like they did Butch and she then encounters a mystical junk yard cat.

I recognised the priest from Daredevil in one of the last few episodes in season 4 (as the interim mayor). Cool to see him. He is awesome on that show.

I hope this means we get to see Selina doing some proper moves in season 5.
