Gotham The Official Gotham News and discussion thread - Part 5

Hmmm...

Cameron's known for being a teasing cheeky monkey on Twitter in regards to Gotham, and curiously enough he addresses Jeremiah as J on his tweets, so what I think he means there is that Jeremiah isn't 'J' yet. Or he's taking a slight jab at John Stephens' comments earlier this year of "Jeremiah's totally not the Joker y'all" along with all of that.

Hopefully.

If they introduce another Valeska, I will rain hellfire on Stephens' house.

I mean, if Bane wasn't able to appear until the final season, Jeremiah should be Joker. Not going to be happy if that's not the case.

I don't think anyone who stomached Jerome's second death and grew to love Jeremiah would. They've started to establish the symbiotic relationship between him and Bruce, which is much stronger in comparison to the latter and Jerome's, and emblematic of the Joker/Batman relationship to a tee. Heck, some of Jeremiah's dialogue is perfect foreshadowing for who he could become, not to mention they're having him behave more unhinged this season, giving him more Joker-esque traits and possibly introducing their Harley Quinn in the form of Ecco.

Why do all of that if it's all meaningless in the end? Plus, with all that's been going on, I don't think they'd even have time to introduce and properly flesh out a third brother (or clone, if you buy into that certain theory). Stephens said what he said before One Bad Day was released, before they knew Fox was only going to give them one last season and with only half the episode count. I'm truly hoping he's changed his mind and from what vague indications we've gotten, that seems to be the case, but there's still this small gut feeling in the back of my mind that he's gonna pull off some bullcrap twist. He is directing the Ace Chemicals episode after all.

I wish the show hadn't drop Harvey Dent after S2, which he didn't do anything significant in. I know Nicholas was busy with Trial and Error, but they could have recast the role. One of the few threads that may not be tied up, along with Montoya and Allen.

I don't think anyone cares about Montoya and Allen by this point. :funny:

It’s weird considering a few characters like Firefly, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and the head of the Court of Owls were all recast. Dent just faded in the background.

And good timing, because he posted this yesterday:

First thing that came to mind was this for some reason:

Kinda getting the feeling that we’ll see Jeremiah fall into a vat of chemicals in the ACE episode and then disappear.
To reappear in the time jump episode looking a little more grotesque.

I think that would be kinda cool.
Jeremiah is assumed dead after the fall and shows up years looking unrecognizable to Bruce when he’s active as Batman.
Maybe Jeremiah will be a little fuzzy about his past after all of this and his obsession will turn to Batman rather than Bruce :awesome:

That's what I hope will happen, yeah.

I wonder why. That’s quite a shame that we never saw Two Face after so many seasons with many of the other top villains.

Would be a good way to do things.

Given what Cameron's said about "J's" last appearance in the show being nightmare fuel; if he looks anything similar to this in the creep factor, I'm gonna adore Gotham's Joker.

Man, I’m so hoping he’s in the finale for the time jump. Full on Joker!!! :mrk::mrk::mrk:

What was the name of the black villain who teamed up with Zsasz (another sharpshooter) near the end of season 4? I loved seeing them 2 together and would have liked to see them partner up again.

His name was Headhunter

To this day, he and Zsasz are still drinking that milkshake.
