The one show that could of actually put him in the lucha mask, decided on making him a bizarre Terminator/Sub Zero mashup.

The mask reminds me of the breath masks people wearing during sleep in case they stop breathing. Perhaps this Bane suffers from sleep apnea.

And what's going on with his upper arms and shoulders? He looks so puffy. Are we supposed to believe that's muscle? If so this Bane seems to have skipped forearm day at the gym...a lot.

Haven't seen Shane West in anything yet, so we'll see how he does performance wise.

Why is his right arm more padded than the left? They should have gone with someone taller.

Anyone familiar with 80s cartoons will know what I mean when I say he looks like he should be in that Visionaries tv show.

I love Gotham and this looks very fitting for the tone of the show. The shoulder pads are irking me though

Honestly I am wondering if they are going the same route they did with Mr.Freeze (it took 3 episodes), Scarecrow (3 different cosutmes over the course of 6 episodes) and Jerome/Jerimiah (technically due to the fact with post season 3, they add more elements of the Joker with each appearance) , and the costume we are seeing for Bane right now is just the prototype costume before we see other more finalized versions of those costumes (whether it is more comics, Arkham game or Nolanverse inspired or take a combined mix of all 3).

As it is right now, yeah I think the shoulder pads are my biggest gripe with the costumes, but others elements don't really take me off that bad. It seems like based off of tweets like this () and interviews like the Newsrama one, they are trying to shove as much Batman lore reference into these 10 episodes as they can. Hopefully it doesn't overloads and takes away from the overall story.

Plus, what do you think the final episode is called? I think its simply "Finale", but playing the what if game, I wonder if it'll be called "Year One" or "Batman".
