you can really see his chest hair too. hahahaha

Consistancy was my main worry as I feel the Hulk in both previous films had consistancy problems with the look, it's looking good in TA though.

I can't believe how much he looks like Mark Ruffalo. :wow: This is the most realistic Hulk has ever looked in my opinion- you can really believe he came from the same Banner.

Random question, which Hulk has the best colour? I think I prefer TIH's darker green.

I always liked the TIH Hulk, and if I had to nitpick I would love for Ruffalo's Hulk to be a tad bit on the darker side of green, but TA Hulk is just all kinds of awesome.

I was a fan of TIH design over Ang Lee's one, but nevertheless, when watching those 2 films or looking at pictures, it was still always very obvious that you were looking at a CGi creation.

But when you see this ........................

804px-Avenger_Hulk.jpg

............................ it really does make it easy to believe that a real human man has transformed into this creature. It's almost photorealistic.

It's very important that Hulk looks more realistic in Avengers, given that he is inevitably going to be working and/or fighting in close proximity with the other real human characters on screen. But it looks like they've pulled it off based on what we've seen so far.

Agreed on all counts!

Just caught the new TV spot with the Hulk smiling at Cap's 'Hulk...Smash!"

Love it :yay: Just a second or 2 shot from a TV spot gives us more Hulk character than the 2 previous movies could manage.

Exactly. That may well be the greatest moment in Hulk film ever!!!

These look awesome. I love how they incorporated the Lou Ferigno Hulk brow into this design. Hulk does look a lot like Ruffalo though. I don't mind that they used Ruffalo as the template, but they should have morphed his face just a slight bit more...just to please me. :cwink:

Ruffalo, in the brief clips, has nailed Banner's timid personality.

I think this has largely gone unnoticed.

Oh damn, I can't wait for this movieeeee

-Hulk
-Uh?
-Smash!

Awesome. Just awesome.

Going back to something I said earlier, Hulk in the third pic down is the perfect shade of green imo.

I love his grunts.

Very animal-like yet expressive.

Some sound similar to the Ted Cassidy's (the guy who played Lurch on the Adam Family television show) television show Hulk during season one, which to this day are the best Hulk grunts and growls. They were unique sounds.

Ruffalo, in the brief clips, has nailed Banner's timid personality.

I think this has largely gone unnoticed.

You beat me to it...Let's not forget that a lot of that is Ruffalo doing that...maybe some action sequences are stunt men, but Ruffalo is nailing the actions and reactions.

Tih is the only avengers lead in movie I haven't seen. I tired to find it at the rental store but they didn't have it. I could try to find it online but I wouldn't know were to look. Unless someone could pm me a link maybe?

Hey guys long time no post, I have to say when Cap asked Hulk to Smash and that one second Smirk I have to agree showed more emotion and character than any other Hulk moment in the other two movies.

I cant wait for TA's Hulk, I feel we are going to have the very best one yet. :bh:

Correct I feel almost shameful for not having noticed that.
If I did I didn't acknowledge that.

Dude are you kidding me I almost fell across my room.
I said did he just smile.
He finally has his own personality which has what has been missing all along.
Bruce and Hulk are two different people and until they decide to acknowledge that we will not have a Hulk just a big green Banner.
Banner should never what to smash anything but when he becomes Hulk his alter ego is released.
That was the secret between Bill Bixby and Lou's Hulk not the lonely guy story. They tried that with Norton and it didn't work.
The real sotry or arc is the angst between Banner and Hulk.
Like Jekyl and hide.Always has been always will be.

I can't help but wonder how this is going to work is it Banner in control is it a subservient Hulk who trust his peers.I wonder.I like the latter because it still works and leaves room for trouble if you get him angry.

Gosh:I just thought of somthing I hope Hollywood doesn't get involved and make it some type of Shield shot or drug.

By the way did anyone notice the little Grey in Hulk's temple(Actually down by the ears) like Ruffalo.

This movie is going to have memorable quotes, both involving Hulk

"We have a Hulk"
"Hulk... Smash"

The number of Hulk inspired avatars on these boards is quite a sight for a Hulk fan :).

I'm interested to see if he'll have more than one sentence responses to things.

Agreed,I think he will be underrated as Banner(many are still hanging onto Norton)!!
