Does anyone get the impression that this Hulk (Avengers one) is shown to be lot more powerful than Hulk in TIH ?

Yeah, and that's great. That's what hulk's supposed to be; not an 'barely' upgraded version of the tv series.:yay:

Durable? wtf .... LOL

You get that all from literally a combined 25 seconds worth of footage that we've seen of him?

Ok durable remains to be seen :) TIH Hulk suffered lacerations after the helicopter crashed into him. We'll have to wait and see if anything breaks Avengers Hulk's skin in combat.

It most be awesome being a Hulk fan, you hardly ever have to worry about him getting his ass kicked much in live action.

It must be sweet :hulk:

^Except by the writers.

I wonder if Whedon felt that he had much more freedom when writing the Hulk than he had with writing the big three of the group since:

1. He's essentially able to start from scratch with how he wants to reintroduce Banner into the MCU

2. Unlike the other heroes, he's not restricted towards what he can and can't show in Bruce's development since the Hulk doesn't have any sequels lined up within the near future.

True, but I'm sure him always being shown as the most powerful guy around eases the pain.

Does anyone have a gif of Hulk smashing the aliens to the ground from the "Isolated" tv spot?

Imo, durable and invulnerable are 2 different things. Lacerations from the helicopter and getting Abominations Elbow spike into his shoulder doesn't mean he wasn't durable. Just meant he wasn't invulnerable.

I think they found a nice medium between Hulk's build in Ang's Hulk and his build in Leterrier's Hulk, he has a thick build but he's also muscular and quite ripped.

Very tue, I should have said invulnerable. I'm interested to see what it takes to cause physical damage to him. The shot of him swatting the ship out of the air like it was nothing was an impressive feat.

To me he looks like a shorter, leaned out, more refined version of Ang's Hulk, with Ruffalos face instead of the Shrek face.

Hulk has more of a Power-lifter build in TA. Which is how Hulk should be built.

See the design looks great but i think i'm in the minority here about his realism, i mean he looks incredibly real in some shots but really fake in others, i still think its a step down compared to the skin texture of Ang's hulk, and he doesen't mesh with his surroundings aswell, i mean like the scene outside downtown san fransisco when he is on his little rampage, his skin looked amazing, and i have yet to see his face look as amazing as it did the first time he hulked out in Ang's, when nolte touched his face..that was nuts, the only thing iv'e seen come close to that is the shot of him screaming at the end of trailer 1..now i'm not complaining because it seems like they have hulks character down in this one aswell as look, however the CG in some shots is a little dis-heartining.

I have officially lost all hope of Thor looking cool in this film. The cynic in me just knows Thor's gonna get shafted in favor of the green mook when it comes to feats of strength and general bad-assery.

they're more than lilkely saving thor for the movie itself.....
