They got Widow in the right position.

Back from watching the Movie. The Hulk is simply badass and hilarious.

Loved the battle between him and Thor, Hulk punching him after they brought down the Leviathan together and putting Loki down for the count and calling him "Puny God" I think. It wasn't clear, because the audience was laughing too damn hard, as was I. Only nitpick I have, I wish he would have talked more. Otherwise, get Ruffalo and Whedon need to make another Hulk Movie.

I don't know what to feel any more. I know the movie will most likly be awesome but........... :csad::dry::meanie:

Well from his interactions with the team you definitely get the sense that he's intelligent, savage yes, but still intelligent.
Actually I was reminded of King Kong, a lot of his movements were subtle and slightly animalistic.

Hulk is definitely the shining gem, in a film filled with shiny gems. Everyone gets their moment and sense of importance, but Hulk manages to steal a somewhat unstealable movie.

And yes it's not just hulk, Ruffalo plays banner perfectly, with the awkwardness, the fear, the acceptance of what he is, and the banter with everyone else. He should have been the Hulk a long time ago. I'll definitely use him along with keaton, craig and ledger as ammunition next time someone *****es about casting.

Man, I'm so happy to read this!:yay:

The 3rd time was definitely the charm here. Mark Ruffalo was way better than Bana or Norton. Yeah, at the end of the day you want to see the Hulk, but it was really enjoyable to watch Ruffalo as Banner. Especially when he teased and threatened what would happen if they pissed him off. And when they revealed his secret, how he avoids turning into Hulk, just brilliant. A Hulk Movie deserves another shot with Ruffalo in the role and Whedon, if not directing, at least producing and consulting.

I agree. There's a certain nuance to the character that ruffalo seems to get. It's not just the excellent writing, but in how he acts, little ticks, how he talks.

I have a feeling all the norton fans are gonna shut up now. I mean, i was cool with norton, but if there's another hulk movie, IT HAS TO BE RUfFALO.

Even when they revealed his secret, it made sense. am i right? It's not something that came out of nowhere, you could really see it in his character for the first acts in the movie.

With a track record of spot on casting (RDJ as Tony Stark/IRON MAN, CH as THOR, TH as LOKI, and Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/CAPTAIN AMERICA) it's a wonder that people were questioning MARVEL STUDIOS wrt Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/THE HULK.

Tiny bit of a spoiler for the film, nothing too major.

The Thor/Hulk moment in the final battle, you know what it is immediately if you've seen it.

That got the biggest reaction in the audience, people were cracking up real hard at that. I was beaming very wide hahaha.

Also, the hulk/loki thing would have read as very very stupid in a script, but came off as funny but really REALLY badass on screen

All in all, hulk definitely stole the show, i could just list moments, not nessesarily geek out moments, just awesome moments that would touch anyone (comic book fans or not) for every single character, and Hulk's would be the longest list. He has the best moments in the film, I'd find it hard for someone to disagree.

not really spoilery since it doesnt make any sense if you don't know the context:

I also like the conversation the old dude had with banner as he woke up.

You mean the Leviathan bit? That must have been by far my favorite moment.

Both on top the Leviathan, fighting, bringing it down. Then after it crashing, they just stand there, taking a breath and BAM

I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

Yeah well you can never be too careful, I got spoilt in a big way before about something major in this film.

Haha yeah It was hilarious, nice to see they didn't forget to continue the interactions even during the final battle.

but if there's another hulk movie, IT HAS TO BE RUfFALO.
Seconded. His shout at Black Widow really conveyed the inner demons of the character, and he pulled off the science expert side. He 'felt' and looked like Banner.

Oh hi anne fan, fancy seeing you here. :funny:

Do you come here often? :oldrazz:

haha, nope my first time here, but after watching the film my first (very sad i know) thought was....i need to go to the Avengers board!

Hey it beats drawing circles in the floor out of boredom waiting for the TDKR trailer :funny:

Well, Norton is part of that as well and some have complained about him. I'm not one of those though and I think Ruffalo will be as good as the rest of the castings.

I can't believe how well they conveyed his strength in this, I mean that scene with the first Leviathan almost had me applauding!

Oh yeah, his entrance in that scene was brilliant with how measly he looked compared to everyone else as he entered, then the Leviathan came, he said his line...the rest you know. People clapped and cheered.

He stopped it dead in its tracks.

Worthiness and all that aside, Thor's hammer must be really hard to pick up if Hulk can't do it.

Well, it's Magic. It negates all laws of physics. If you're not worthy, it won't move for even a millimeter. I'm glad that not even Hulk could pick it up. That really annoyed me in the Avengers Animated Movie.

I thought he was actually going to lift it up slightly at one point, but he didn't even budge it!
